Luriya's Thai

The food is delicious, and the seasoning is mild. It was truly the best Thai restaurant I've been to around here. We've even come back for dinner already.

Amazing flavours! We popped in for a lunch special and it had a good size, with spot on chilli heat. Staff were friendly and we had our food in no time👍🏼

It’s not fancy, but they do what matters best-quality Thai food. We’d definitely come back again😋😋

Had a small trip to Old Bar and went to this restaurant for two consecutive nights! We had stir-fry with sweet and sour sauce & green curry the first night (we forgot to take photos). We drank all the curry because it tasted really good! We had Pad Thai, red curry and sticky rice with mango the second night (see photos). The dishes were very authentic and flavorful. We’re impressed that they planted their own veggies! We’re also surprised that the sticky rice came with ice cream ;))) The dishes are reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We definitely recommend this restaurant!

I found myself looking for a nice cosy restaurant in old bar mid north coast NSW.
We ventured in the Luriya’s Thai in the main st. Warmly greeted upon arrival by this local family business whom I learned later, has recently taken over this authentic Thai restaurant. The food was very fresh and awesome authentic Thai tastes coming through each dish , the spice 🌶 level was delicate and perfect for me and upped a few levels for my Thai partner and she really enjoys Thai spices .

We had a delightful dining experience at the Luriya’s Thai restaurant in Old Bar Beach. The Chicken Cashew with fried rice was a perfect blend of flavors, and the Chicken Satay was incredibly tender and flavorful. The sizzled fish was a highlight, cooked to perfection. The ambiance and service added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious Thai culinary journey!

Small local business, hand-made food, no frozen or prebought ingredients. Everything is fresh, handmade or grown in house. all the vegetables, herbs and fresh produce is grown at home.

The most wonderful meal of Thia I have ever eaten. We had the Sizzling Garlic Prawns and Stir fry Beaf and Oyster Sauce. Both meals where fantastic.
We travelled a lot and this is well worth the drive to Old Bar NSW just for the Thia food. Well done Chef.

Food at Luriya’s Thai is very fresh and delicious. Highly recommended the curry puffs and money bags. We also ordered the pad Thai and yellow curry as a main and both were very tasty. The restaurant is also very clean and staff are very friendly and welcoming.

We happened to be driving past Old Bar and spontaneously decided to come here for some Thai food - absolutely delicious! Lovely, quick service as well. We had the chicken pad Thai and fish red curry, which was better as anything you could find in Melbourne! I would highly recommend dropping in to support a local restaurant (where they use local seafood and vegetables they grow in their own garden) AND have a mind-blowing meal 😋

My husband and I have travelled throughout Thailand and this food is by far the best in Auz! The owners are fun loving and care about their customer experience 🙏well done

Authentic Thai cuisine with the friendliest service. Low cost and BYO.

The fact that they cook with vegetables and herbs that they have grown in their own garden makes their food tastes so fresh and delicious. A must try is their Jungle Curry if you want something spicy and their Chicken Satay taste so good too. Very accommodating and friendly owners and staff. Give them a visit whenever you are in Old Bar!

We ordered the green chicken curry with coconut rice which was so delicious, the spring were really nice , the money bags were good , overall the food was hot and Authentic Thai cooking, we’ll definitely be back for more yummy Thai food next time the bf and I are in Old Bar 👍🏽

really excellent restaurant. thai cooks & really tasty authentic thai food waa served. couldnt get enough of it. plenty of ice cold water & good air con. old bloke serving was really good. prices were about $5 - $8 more than sydney thai but seems like this is the norm with ppl paying these prices for thai at old bar

We had lunch here last week, for the first time under the new management of Luyira's Thai. My wife had Yellow Curry. She said it compared very favourably to the Yellow Curry she had in various restaurants in Sydney. I had chicken stir fry with garlic & pepper sauce. This was well presented & very tasty.
Today we returned. My wife had Vegetable Lahksa & I had Green Curry. Both were superb. Potential customers should ignore any older negative reviews under previous management.

Stopped for coffee. Was huge, hot and heavenly! Made by a true professional. Can only vouch for coffee so far but will update when I get food.
