The fresh pies are amazing! The curry beef pie is the best hands down best one!
If you are in old bar it's a must try.

I bought a freshly made sandwich there as I was passing through on Monday 19/2/24 as I just wanted a healthier option for my drive home to Qld. It was the "bomb". My 12 year old even wanted more!!

We dropped in to this Bakery and I got a sausage roll it was amazing hubby got a pie which was just as good so if you are in Old Bar check it out 😄

An absolute must. The blueberry pie paired with vanilla ice-cream is next level. The flaky sausage rolls are ridiculous. Do yourself a favour Australia 💪👍🤠

Great service. My chicken and salad roll was massive - the chicken was sliced and flavoursome - not the usual cubed Pre- prepared chicken often served elsewhere. Beef curry pies were a hit with my husband - who took 2 cold pies home to eat at a later time. Can see why it's so popular! Got to go back to try their carrot cake again!

Your classic country bakery with the essentials and some quality sweets. My general test of a bakery's quality in baking sweets is the Vanilla Slice. To pull off a good slice you need skill in making crispy layered pastry as well as getting the right consistency in n the Vanilla custard filling.

This bakery has opted for the triple pastry similar to a French Vanilla Slice combined with the custard from your typical Australian Snot Block.

The pastry was crispy and nicely laminated, melting in your mouth. I'd say a little thicker than I'd like, as it held its shape long enough to squish all the custard out when you went in for a bite - the triple layer of pastry adds to this.

The custard was good, it wasn't lumpy or gelatinous, had a good consistency and colour. Flavour was there too, not over powering and not underwhelming.

The Neenish Tart was a super pleasant delight! The pastry was thin, the buttercream was light, and the icing was delicate albeit not glossy. It was a nice light treat.

Very good sandwiches, great meat pies and cakes. Fruit pies are delicious too.
Very friendly staff and good coffee.

Feel very lucky to live in a town that just happens to have one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to. Friendly service and everything is delicious. Iced donuts for the win.

Absolutly best coffee in Old Bar and Taree combined.....no burnt tasting long black for me!! Best bread!! And the best best best cheese and bacon pies in the world!!!

Good pies sausage rolls bread cakes drinks and nice milkshakes cash only but has a teller machine inside
