Best Indian food I’ve ever had!
We always take friends and family here as it never disappoints. The food is excellent quality, the service is great and the eggplant special is amazing. We’ve never had a bad experience here and the only time service was ever slow (Valentines day 2020) they refused to let anyone pay for their meals and the whole restaurant ate free.
Everyone that works here are so dedicated to making sure everyone has a great experience. They are also very accomodating to all dietary requirement and have a separate vegan menu.

Great food, great ambience, great service. The chef was very attentive & friendly, helped us choose our dishes, then surprised us with a cake to help us celebrate one son completing the HSC & another having a birthday. The bill was very reasonable too. Looking forward to going back for more. Only downside was the music, which only came on after our meal, was too loud as we were seated right under the TV & they don't serve tea & coffee.

Really great vegan options. I visited for my family birthday dinner and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The only negative was the reason that I chose this restaurant was because they used to do a gluten free, vegan naan (something I've never been offered at any other Indian) and it is no longer offered. Hopefully they can consider bringing this back to the menu considering how many people have gluten intolerances.

OVERVIEW: Today I visited Kasturie Indian Restaurant.. I was blown away by the kindness, hospitality and food by this restaurant.

SERVICE:I booked a table for 8 people for a birthday. The owner opened the restaurant early before opening time specially for our group. Furthermore, the owner put up birthday decor within the restaurant to make the occasion memorable. The owner put happy birthday music through the sound system and provided a birthday cake free of charge! The owner made personal recommendations regarding the food and allowed us to select personal dishes or choose from a pre selected banquet. Our group was vegetarian, and the owner was very flexible in providing many vegetarian options on the menu which was fantastic. Throughout the service, staff checked on our table and each one of the guests to ensure we were happy with our meals which was fantastic.

FOOD: From the variety of food dishes selected by the members of the table, we were able to try an assortment of classic Indian recopies. They were well presented, hot, fresh and delicious. I could not fault any of the items on the menu that were selected, as they were delicious. The owner provided take away containers also at the end for us to take extra food back home.

PRICE: Pricing for the restaurant was very fair, they offered split payments for a group on card, and were very flexible with our group.

SUMMARY: Overall, the restaurant provided fantastic service at a great price. We felt welcome and cared for, and enjoyed walking away feeling happy and content. I would recommend this restaurant to locals and tourists, as you will be provided not only great food but a fantastic memorable experience. This restaurant provided COVID safe practices and had hand hygiene stations available and sign in stations available upon entry. The restaurant was well kept and tidy, and in an easy to access location.

We just took our 22yo to this great restaurant for his birthday, two 6yo & an 8yo in toe and they were more than welcoming and friendly to our boys. The food was great, they even surprised us with a cake, which was so lovely of them. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for 5 star service and food.

Food was delicious. The service was great as well, the lovely man working there helped us to order the food and made suggestions of what we should have together. The decor is really nice as well and had a relaxing atmosphere. Cant wait to go back!

Awesome authentic Indian restaurant which was a bit of a hidden gem and a pleasant surprise. The food was incredibly tasty and clearly made using very fresh ingredients. The owners were also very friendly and really cared about their customers. Really enjoyed the food and looking forward to returning.

A gem of an Indian restaurant on the central coast. The food was lovely right from the entrees and mains to desserts. And the place has the right decor to go with it. A big shout out to Krishna for operating and maintaining a great Indian restaurant. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a hearty Indian meal near the coast.

The most flavoursome Indian food ever. Their service is excellent and despite a blackout just before we arrived, they managed to get meals to all the tables promptly. The vegetable samosas are sensational.

We shared a lovely dinner here tonight, wonderful friendly staff.. eager to please and accommodate our needs.

The food was delicious & plentiful, we couldn't finish it all but we certainly tried.. very satisfied & we'll be back for sure.

We have enjoyed 3 separate dinners at this restaurant since it recently opened, with the recent dining experience, being tonight 6th September. Have enjoyed trying the different dishes, getting ready to order dishes for a family birthday picnic lunch soon. Recommend the grilled lamb cutlet, mango chicken, butter chicken, chicken dosa, and potato rocket ( similar to a potato croquette) which we tried tonight. Staff are great and very friendly. Not your ordinary Indian flavours, great choices to experience :) Thoroughly recommend.

Great food, great ambience, great service . The chef Krishna Garu was very attentive, friendly, caring and superb Host. We went there without any plan for lunch, it became one of the best memory/time to freeze. I would highly recommend this place for tasty A1 iNDAIN food and great ambience. Hands down best Indian food I've ever tasted! Lamb madras, chicken vindaloo, saffron rice, garlic Naan of course and the lovely owners give you complimentary papadums too.
Great value for money and suck kind and friendly service. Definitely recommend and I can't wait to go back!

I had onion bhaji, vagen butter chicken and garlic naan and LOVED IT. It was delicious and a very generous serving size, had enough to for dinner and breakfast the next day.
Can highly recommend, staff are very accommodating and are happy to make anything on the vegetarian menu vegan.
Will be visiting again!

Toukley finally has a good Indian. Really yummy food that comes out fresh and hot. They now have fresh and sparkling water on tap instead of using plastic bottles. The waiter is really lovely and friendly and wants the best for his customers.

Best and most authentic Indian food I've had since living in India! Such friendly and attentive service and really reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning :)

Kasturie is an awesome place to have Indian food. Ask for their South Indian fare, especially from Andhra Pradesh which they can whip up with varying degrees of spiciness depending on your tolerance. Krishna and his better half along with their team are lovely folks. Recently we asked them to cater for a get-together at our place. Our guests loved the food making it a memorable day for us. Thank you Krishna and team.

Just enjoyed a beautiful vegan dinner at Kasturie Royal Taste of India Toukley. Krishna & his team provide excellent service & he is extremely happy when his guests enjoy his hospitality. Do try it!

If you love Indian food!! Look no further!!! This is our go to restaurant! The BEST EVER fish Rogan Josh and beef Vindaloo!!!!always get the onion bhaji for entree......with their beautiful smiley faces and heart warming service...I feel like family! Thank you Thank you...outstanding!

We traveled 50 minutes to come for lunch and the food was fantastic. We are vegan and they were so accommodating with such a large vegan menu as well.
Staff are so friendly and lovely atmosphere.
