My friends had been telling me about this fabulous treasure of a cafe and healthy food shop at Caringbah in the middle of the Shire and I kept forgetting to drop in, so today I made the effort to drive up a little way further past the big Woolworths and I was so lucky to get a park spot right at the front door. The staff are so lovely and the other customers so friendly too - had a lovely quick chat. OMG the half shot Latte I had was so creamy and delicious! I would not normally drink coffee as the caffeine is usually too much for me but today I enjoyed a superb paleo vegan brownie and yummy latte with no side effects. They have the cafe 2 doors up and it's all 100% organic so you feel totally safe that it's all healthy! Love this place will definitely be back!!

First time in Arete, my partner and I currently purchase organic produce elsewhere but I’ll definitely be back I walked out feeling so good from the service & knowledge that was provided. I think we’ve found our new local 🫶🏼

I had the most delicious and nutritious salad for lunch at the cafe as well as a yummy green juice. A little expensive compared to “regular” food but well worth it as a treat. Food is medicine! The staff were friendly, helpful, polite & knowledgeable. The cafe was serene and comfortable. The filtered water on tap was a nice touch. I will go back to try a coffee & sweet treat next time.

Went to the cafe this morning, owner was very helpful, place looks lovely and clean. The brownies are amazing. I tried my first Turmeric latte which was great, even my fussy 5 y.o loved it. Pricewise - its an organic cafe so you will always pay more but its worth it!

Beautiful service! Requested essential oil for sick friend in hospital. When I told Omar her story h gifted the bottle of beautiful essential oil for me to give to her - adamantly refused payment - what a legend.

We tried to make it work. We tried to support the little guys as we know how tough things are for small business. But for special order items, it really needs to be better organised and communicated. We were told the items would be in on a certain day only to make the trip there to find out it hadn’t arrived. Decided we’d wait for a text message to confirm it had arrived before making the trip there again, only for 5 days to go by before we were notified. Now left with milk that we’re racing the clock to consume before the expiry date.

On a positive note, they do stock Mungalli milk which is absolutely amazing, but I’m now not sure I want to go through the trouble of special ordering milk all the time.
