I can’t speak highly enough of this place. Leederville has so many choices of cafes but you’re missing out badly if you haven’t tried this one.
It’s the most friendly, fun and delicious cafe I know. The staff are beyond amazing ((no exaggeration) and equally as importantly the coffee is always dialled in perfectly. What do I mean by that? I mean it’s always sweet and bloody delicious. That’s no mean feat as most cafes will occasionally serve you up an astringent, bitter or overheated coffee. Or all three. Or forget your order. Or ruin your coffee experience in some other way. Not here, it’s always bang on. Always.

Lovely little coffee cafe. Great atmosphere with super choice of music for a windy morning. Staff seemed to be having a good time and could sing (on pitch) too. I had a good time people watching and listening to the sound and smells of coffee-making.

First visit. Only had a coffee. The coffee was great and I will be back for a bagel.

Excellent coffee! I would highly recommend the batch brew for those looking for a strong flavoured coffee. The flat white (full cream) was amazing. The location is 'hidden' so nice spot to take your laptop during the week.

A meticulously clean, functional and modern cafe with atmosphere! I came for a coffee and bight and received more than I bargained for - I received a warm welcome, fantastic coffee, and a tasty toasted roll. Staff were very engaging and pleasant too!

Decades of experience with cafes and restaurants has taught to look for two things: a passion for giving the best to customers, and staff getting along with each other well. This cafe has a lot of both. We once walked past, bought a batch brew coffee for takeaway and have been wanting to revisit since. Yesterday when we went back and were once again delighted by the batch brew, as well as the range of cafe food. Had a great chat about coffee beans and brewing methods in general. The comfy lounge with a warm and chill atmosphere is perfect for a gathering with friends. If you only have 1 hour of the free parking nearby, beware of staying too long here and forgetting the passage of time!

The team at Abacus are absolutely brilliant. Service is always great, the food is always delicious and the coffee always hits the spot. As someone who works in Leederville, I absolutely love having them as my local cafe.

Best coffee in Perth hands down. Have been regularly since they opened. Ideal for a casual work meeting or just a chill on my own.

Hidden gem in Leederville as it's off the main street. Coffee and staff are top notch, have come here a few times when in the area and they do not disappoint.

The brie & ham mustard bagel was everything I need and more this morning. 11/10.
