Danny's Seafood La Perouse

Lovely! Great food. I asked for an affogato which wasn't on the menu and it wasn't any trouble at all. Pricing was great and service was lovely. Just a nice peaceful unhurried lunch. Highly recommend

My friends & I enjoyed our seafood lunch here at Dannys on Sunday 20th Feb 2022, sitting on the balcony looking out over La Perouse was absolutely beautiful with lovely service from the waiters .

Seafood is tasted quite fresh. The platter is actually insane for seafood lovers. A must try. The servers are nice, overall the restaurant is good.

Had their special for the day meal. All the seafood was fresh and tasted better compared to other fish and chips place.

The food and service are still phenomenal after all these years and the portion are too

Food is delicious, the view is great and the prices are decent.

A nice quiet bach for people who wish to avoid large waves. Nice sand, reasonable parking, nearby shops and eateries.

my second time at Dannys in last year maybe. This place maybe look old and outdated I agree. But the quality of food is unreal and doesn’t reflect the look of the shop. I was very impressed the first time how fresh was fish and salad without bad oil taste. Chips perfectly made and mainly all cooked on clean and fresh oil. No unhealthy after taste or anything like that. I thought I was maybe lucky getting meal cooked on new oil but today after nearly a year the quality was the same. Fish and chips in general is not my favourite dish because it’s fried. but those guys make them just healthy as they change oil early. Boat shad maybe look fancy but fish and chips is better at Dannys. For $10.50 you don’t find better fish and chips with salad in whole sydney. And no public holiday surcharge.

Fairly nice place for takeaway food. We ended up getting a BBQ Platter which gave us a pretty wide range of different seafood, with salad, rice and chips. The seafood itself was really nice, so there are no real complaints there. The Greek salad was also very good. The only issue I had was the chips weren't as great as other places. They weren't bad but they could have used more salt and thicker chips would be preferred. I still would give them five stars because the service was excellent, with the staff being very polite and the food coming out relatively quickly.

Went there with the whole family last week and don’t know what all the bad reviews are for. The staff were enormously polite and the seafood we all had was delicious. I had super fresh whiting fillets and lovely grilled octopus. Give these guys a shot as they deserve it. Would be more than grateful to go back.

Delicious food and good service. We booked a table in the restaurant area and we were provided with a parking spot in their car park, otherwise parking would have been extremely difficult.
We also had with us an elderly lady who was using a walker and she was not very mobile, so negotiating the few steps were almost impossible for her.
However, the restaurant staff were all extremely helpful in ensuring she made it into and out of the restaurant safely.
We also found the staff to be very friendly and obliging.

I had a great experience at Danny's. Not sure why the rating for this place is so low? I thought everything was great, considering the location (ocean view) and the price!
For around $10, you can get fish and chips and salad! and it's a big portion AND you have ocean view! This is an unbeatable price. Sure, it wasn't the BEST fish and chips I've had in my life, but taking into account the location, views, and price, I'll give Dannys a 5 star!
I can agree with others that staff weren't the most friendly, but they were constantly hard at work and cleaning the tables and ensuring that seagulls weren't lurking around leftover food and disturbing patrons.

Very friendly and efficient service. The seafood is great and they are not afraid to try new things. My friends ordered milkshakes using the gelato flavours and they were happy to make them (and my friends liked them).

Gee there are some narks here on google review. Had the $21 fish and chips. Generous portion and really nice to eat. Staff friendly and attentive !!
