Just outside of Hahndorf but worth the trip. Best beef schnitzel ever! Squid entree was superb. Friendly and fast service. Posh seating inside more laid back outdoor at the back of hotel. Large car park too.

The porterhouse schnitty was huge and very delicious. The chips, salad and peppercorn sauce were all top notch.. this was all topped off with a amazing sticky date brûlée..
The staff were really great too.. it was a really lovely night out while we were in Adelaide. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily visit again..

Great location, awesome food and attentive service. Dining room doors open right up to integrate with the beer garden. Plenty of parking.

There are few who have mastered the art of gnocchi but oh my Lordy, these guys make the list. I’ve been all over Italy and not had ‘melts in your mouth’ gnocci like this! Also super accomodating chefs for swapping the asparagus for broccolini at my annoying request (I’m not big on asparagus). Also just an all round fab atmosphere / hidden gem!

Celebrated my sons birthday here recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was swift and friendly for our table of 6. We sat out the back in the beer garden. The food was a pleasant suprise. Only gripe but not serious was that our wooden tables one side was so far warped, my son could not eat with his plate flat. They had to squash a bit over to the one side. Will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely afternoon, especially to the young servers. Did a great job !

A visit for lunch was a pleasant experience enjoyed in the outside rural dining area. Broad menu, specials board and a good selection of wine. Although years have passed and various make overs have changed this iconic venue somewhat, it has still maintained its old world charm! I introduced a friend who had never been there before and she enjoyed! I recommend a visit.

Such an inconspicuous looking place from the road, but we went here on a recommendation. The food far exceeded our expectations. Very friendly service too. Definitely on our list of places to visit in the hills.

We stayed at AppleJack at Oakbank Airbnb and the host said to come to Stanley Bridge Tavern front bar and she was right. The atmosphere was fantastic. It was so authentic. We just loved it and the parmy was delicious.

What a great pub/ restaurant. So glad we dropped in for lunch. Service was prompt, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and a big selection of drinks.

Amazing food. Quiet country vibe was beautiful.

Was driving by and stopped on a whim for lunch! Great active fireplace cosying the place on entry, menu selections promising. I settled on the steak, done medium to perfection, with anchovy butter, chips and tangy salad. Squid was fine too, as was the wine. And not outlandishly expensive either. Wait staff were sharp ... all in all, quite the delight.

Came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Easy booking online. Order 2 chicken schnitzels one with pepper sauce and the other chicken parmigiana. Thick juicy and most of all tasty. The crumb is to die for. Good serving of chips on the side. Food was served quick and staff great. We will be back soon.

It is a top notch and outstanding venue as I opted a French stew called Cassoulet as it contains a slow cooked duck leg, pork belly, pork sausage, white beans and herb crumb plus bread accompanied with an orange juice as a beverage of choice

Amazing food! Loved the lamb shoulder. Cooked perfectly with great flavours. The dining area has a great atmosphere with a cosy feel on cold winter evenings. Very polite and attentive service. I will definitely be back again and hopefully get to meet Benny!
