I really love this place… Some of the best potato cakes I have ever had crispy and potato cakey. I did not get chips… Because chips are boring filler food
The (seafood) scallop was amazing the batter, really light and crispy, not thick.
And I tried a fish nugget… Which was actually more like a small piece of battered snapper, great value at three dollars each… Especially when a gigantic piece of fish is just all too much When you need to try, everything.
The the decor and Vibe is on assuming laid-back and old school… It doesn’t really need to be much more than it is… 10 points for the old school Vibe

This is such a great place we had lunch there & we only waited a very minimal time before it came out to us so impressed & the food quality outstanding so delicious 😋 & let me say the Barramundi fish I got was huge great vafor money feed myself & hubby who just had a fish buger

Honestly, what looked unpromising on the outside genuinely lead to the best fish and chips I have ever eaten in my life.
So fresh and crispy! Excellent value for money, very balanced flavours and the tropical fruit smoothies were to die for!!!

Honestly, I would just go back for another banana smoothie, it was so good!!

The staff were incredibly friendly, and only a short walk from the waterfront precinct, 10/10 would recommend going here for all of your take away fish and chip needs!!

Best fish and chips i ever had. The fish was great quality and calamari was not frozen pre-made stuff. Good service and nice dining in setting.

What a wonderful place for lunch. Service outstanding. Food is absolutely delicious. Try the crispy chicken with a surprising flavour. Nice to have happy smiling staff serve you.

Best battered snapper and flake in years! Good on you guys, perfect, crispy, not oily, and a decent thickness to the fish. Batter is delicious!

We think this is the best fish and chips in Darwin. We travel all the way from Palmerston to eat here. It’s always fresh crispy and tasty.

the fish is just fantastic. dropped by with friends who recommended the place and I must say it is great. The fish meat is firm the batter is light and the ambience is great for hanging out.

And did I mention the fish is great?

This fish & chip shop has had several iterations over the decades.
I visited this week (Jan 2019), and it us back to near its best.
Dine-in, inside or outside, or take-away.
Good range of the usual fast-foods,
And cold beverages.
Plenty of parking.
Recommended.

Love eating here! Especially in dry season, eating fresh hot fish & chips at the quiet back area with the kids. Yummy food and fast service.

One of the best classic fish and chips i've had in my time and believe me i've had a few, so if you are looking for quick lunch or a great dinner this is the place to visit let me assure you that you wont regret it.

I can never get enough of this place! They have the best fish and chips in town, bar none. Don't waste your time searching for anywhere else or waiting in line to only be disappointed.

The Calamari is Awesome. Crunchy crumb, tender, and the tubes are big and fat, very cheap at $5 a serve. Chips were nice too.

Nice price, good food and fast, girls are always friendly. Baramundi 15$ 5calamari and chips 6 or 7$. I really love baramundi but why they are small. 😭
