Great Family friendly place to bring your caravan. Got good laundry facilities, toilets and showers extremely clean. However you need to lock bikes etc up as people can either jump fence or walk through boom gate. There is security patrolling the entire park.
Main pool area has bistro and bar. Meals very nice and bar, goes without saying. Have nightly specials also like roast night, steak night etc

What a great place to stay! I was impressed by the rooms - the bed was comfy! I spent an enjoyable time in the bar, where I had the NT Barra, must try! Also see Chris at the bar for a fantastic whisky - if you dare!

Didn't really use much but the rooms. Was comfortable and clean. Was enough for the 2 x nights we stayed.
Pool was great the kids loved it.

We had the absolute pleasure of having our Wedding at the wonderful resort.

Darwin Free Spirit Resort is a family friendly and fun place to stay when visiting the Darwin area.
This weekend there was live music on both Friday and Saturday evenings. The bar and bistro serve great food and the wonderful atmosphere is testimony to Chris and his hard working but friendly team.
They make a mean cocktail too.

Very good camping! Service very great, all the facilities you need for camping and always very clean. 3 very nice swimming pools. Toilet, shower and kitchen close to your campsite. Great bar and restaurant! We recommended! 👍👍👍

Great park for families. Plenty of amenity blocks, very clean, 3 pools, bar and restaurant. Good sized sites.

I'm in Cabin here at the resort.
It's often a bit arduous getting info from a front desk at other places.

Julie and Abby welcomed me yesterday and cheerfully gave me some top tips of things to do and see around Darwin while I'm here.

FreeSpirt was the best! Lots of people to make friends, petrol station next to the resort, stray cats living there (Friendly, except big ginger cat) and three pools.

Would like to thank Andrew and Brett the 2 grounds men for all their their help while we were in the park also Luke the head gardener for having the park look as neat as it is, so much improvement with the amenities and gardens and surrounds ,good luck to Manager Luke for the future will see you all next year.

We are locals and have stayed here multiple times over the years for events and provide functions. The facilities in the park are great for families. Everytime we had a function we book a room as it’s so convenient for the kids and us. Be check in during the day and used the park than had the rooms to get ready for the function. Highly recommended freespirit for functions. We have even come here for the day and had lunch to use the pool. Such a great spot to spend a few hours or the day by the pool with the family.

Has everything you need, multiple pools great bar and bistro plenty of space and is a good location to be at for day trips 😀

We have been here for in a van for 2 weeks and think it's a great place. Tiolets are clean and well looked after. Grassy sites with slabs. Big trees for shade. Note that not all sites are shaded. We have a large site with good space around us. Position is good, 5min to shopping, The bar area is good beside the main pool with happy hr and meals. Music most evenings. A second small pool at the back of the property is used by adults. There is a bike path behind the property thats goes into the city or down to Coolalinga...past the major shopping centre. Definitely be returning.

First time I've ever been here! Was absolutely awsum. It was the school holidays when I was there a few weeks ago so it was quite busy. Spent the arvo there with my God Daughter, one of her friends & my besties husband. Had a few beers to unwind, it was just really chilled. There's heaps of shaded areas, which is a must. You can order meals there if ya get hungry. The staff were also really good.

My stay was made even better by the always joyful staff. Shauna went above and beyond to make me feel special and welcome. Staff at reception were also incredible. I enjoyed the bistro and Live music by the pool. I'm looking forward to coming back soon.

We stayed for two weeks with a group of 15. I found our cabin (362) to be perfect for our stay. Got in at 2am and the room was clean, cool and comfortable. The facilities were great. The park is buzzing with people. The poolside bar and restaurant is great. Live music daily. Food was great. Staff lovely. 3 pools and no they are not heated (your in the NT) and plenty of space for socialising with friends. Considering the comings and goings of all these people the staff do a great job.

After a lengthy stay at FSR. We loved it here.
Great site with beautiful shaded trees. Great amenities. The best thing about this is park is the staff.
