Dr Sophie Lynch Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

i feel sad to read these negative reviews about Dr Sophie. They are so different to the magnificent experience I had with Dr Sophie when she delivered my daughter.
I’m an older mother and had to be cautious. Dr Sophie held my hand the entire way, and on the day she was incredible. I felt safe, comfortable and I could not have wished for a more perfect birth. I will always be grateful, for Dr Sophie expertise.

Dr Sophie Lynch was absolutely fantastic and incredibly supportive during my pregnancy. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her to anyone.
If we have another baby, we would certainly be engaging her again.

Dr Lynch is one of the most caring, professional and smartest doctors I've ever visited.

It makes me sad to read the negative reviews about Dr Lynch. She delivered my first baby back in 2017, and she was a thorough professional. Yes, she was quite practical and didn't show emotions that much, but that's ok. I felt at ease with her as she never induced fear in me about anything. She was calm and I remember my mum praised her a lot as well.

My wife saw Dr Sophie Lynch a few months ago. The doctor's bedside manner was good, however she couldn't help us diagnose the condition nor did she refer us to another obgyn. We ended up doing our own research (literally a few minutes of googling) and arrived at the diagnosis which was later confirmed by another doctor.

Unfortunately my experience several years ago wasn't very positive, largely down to a lack of empathy and clear explanation of options.

I did not attend the doctor for a fertility related issue. During the appointment she asked several times about having a baby and said she could only really help me with fertility. When I told her I was unsure about having children she asked what my mother thought and if I had siblings. When it came to the issue I was actually visiting for she just shrugged her shoulders and wanted me to provide my own answers for a result when I thought gynaecology was supposed to be her area of expertise not mine. I left the clinic upset and uncomfortable DO NOT recommend this doctor.

My first appointment with Sophie Lynch left me with a bad aftertaste. Whenever I asked about my condition, she would often respond with "I'm not sure" or "if you want." I left without a diagnosis or any recommendations for next steps. I even had to request lab work and scans myself. Weeks passed without any follow-ups after my lab work, and when I reached out for my test results, the only response I received was an insistence to book another appointment. Even though I had a scan three weeks ago, I still don't know the findings.

The situation was made worse by Monica Scott, the unhelpful and rude front office gatekeeper. She acted as if she ran the entire show and refused to listen to my questions on the phone, hanging up on both me and my husband.

I regret not checking reviews before seeing Sophie Lynch. Other reviewers have expressed similar complaints about her apparent incompetence or lack of care for patients. Her approach has caused unnecessary delays and frustration, with patients spending hundreds of dollars and receiving nothing in return. My experience was a complete waste of time.

My wife has been a patient of Dr Lynch. The reviews are accurate. Seeing her is a waste of time and money, but mostly it puts you at medical risk of missing out on an accurate diagnosis because the doctor appears clueless, and rarely attends the office. Her receptionist is equally or even more useless, and horribly rude and arrogant, acting like she's running the entire hospital. She will hang up on you if ask for assistance.

Unfortunately my experience with this Doctor couldn't have been worse.
After explaining my whole situation since the beginning and showing her all my files....she asked me many times, ...What do you want me to do?
Do you want me to have a "little" look at you?
To finally referring me to another Doctor, because it wasn't her area of expertise.
Do not waste your money or time with this Doctor.

Do not waste your money on this woman, little knowledge and no empathy shown whatsoever. Truly disgusting
