A Bite To Eat

Fantastic little cafe/restaurant at local shops. Heaps of indoor seating and an outdoor courtyard. Staff were fast and friendly service was great. Spicy pancakes were excellent indian inspired potato and pancakes. Eggs on toast were generous light and fluffy. Wonderful coffee and tea. A great experience

I grew up in Chifley and I now live overseas. I love coming back to this community Shops when we are in Canberra and A Bite To Eat is our go to place. Five Stars all round from me. Today we were there for Lunch but the breakfast menu looks amazing so we will return for that.

A good place to eat there were a lot of us and they did well! Food was well priced and really tasty! Feast juices are really nice!

Never had a bad meal or bad service here, the worst is that it's so popular, if you rock up at a busy time without a booking, you might not get a table. When it's busy, it's also quite noisy so ask for an outside table if you want to talk to your companions!

Such a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch or brunch! I love sitting outside in the courtyard. Staff here are always absolutely wonderful, so attentive and friendly. Always good food, no matter what you order.

Wow! What amazing food !! I have been coming here for coffee for a very long time, but never had the chance to try the food.

Vegan option and all, and was probably the best thing I have even eaten!!

Greeting couldn't have been more polite,friendly & enthusiastic.
Drinks & breakfast arrived promptly & all at our table were impressed with their orders.

Unfortunately was only visiting Canberra but look forward to my next visit here. 10/10!!

Absolutely delicious. I had the harvest bowl with smoked salmon. Coffee was great. We sat outside and it was still really warm thanks to all the outdoor heating. Staff were really friendly too.

Lovely staff and amazing food and coffee. I was particularly impressed with their range and understanding of gluten free food as members of my family have coeliac disease.

You can never go wrong at A Bite To Eat! The food is always tasty, but I go there for the mulled wine alone! It's absolutely delicious. Sadly they only serve it during the winter months. Once you've been at A Bite To Eat, you'll find yourself going back time and time again.

Great to have this place keeping the suburbs alive. We meet for a work breakfast once a month and never dissapointed with the options on the menu. Had the salmon with zucchini and pancakes and I’ll give that five stars alone. Friendly staff and great that they support the community that they are part of. They tipped in their latest fundraiser to Menslink which is a worthy cause.

Nice sunny Sunday morning me and my partner came here for breakfast and I ordered smashed avo and she ordered zucchini fitters food was so delicious and presentable and coffee was so good, Service and staff really nice and friendly. I will highly recommend this place to my friends and family peoples.

There are so many excellent coffee spots in Canberra and this is definitely at the top of that list. Great cafe space with seating inside and outside.

We visited this Cafe for a private function and it was superb. They served a wide, and plentiful, range of finger foods that were all?delicious. The function had an open bar tab and a number of waitresses and ancillary staff who were all really switched on and very pleasant. Probably the best of this type of function that we have attended.

I love this place as a cozy spot to plonk myself and get some work done on the laptop. Great food, delicious coffee and staff that are on point and up for sharing a giggle.
