Being the only one up here almost feels like a crime. I've traveled over the world and rarely get viewpoints this epic at sunset to myself. Truly a gem. Bit of a trek up for 40 min but daymn we were speechless. The 2 trees and that bench cinematicly overlooking Adelaide skyline😳✨

If you're a wildlife lover, this place is a dream come true! I spotted kangaroos hopping around and even caught a glimpse of adorable koalas nestled in the trees. The view of the city was absolutely stunning! Be sure to bring your camera!

A great short walk from Waterfall Gully Road. Wildflowers and koalas added to the experience before reaching the summit and glorious views over the City of Adelaide. Well worth it if you have a couple of hours to spare.

Long Ridge Lookout is a wonderful place to have a panoramic view of Adelaide. The broad road here is not steep, so it is very suitable for hiking and cycling. Along the way, you can see some animals, such as koalas, kangaroos, rabbits and many kinds of birds. Go to the top of the mountain, there will be charming scenery.

Very interesting place. We had a night hike and it took about 40 mins to get to the top and 30 mins to get down. There were plenty of kangaroos on the top of the mountain and they were not afraid of people at all (don’t get too close or they will be scared). The night view of the city was amazing but MUST BE CAREFUL AND WEAR APPROPRIATE SHOES as the road will be quite slippy at night. You can park at 67 Waterfall Gully Rd and then start hiking.

Coming to Long Ridge Lookout is to come to the whisper of trees and flowers and let the green colour fill my eyes. The sun on the horizon followed our footsteps, shining brightly on the rustling trees. Hiking here, I saw the wildness and openness of the hills and felt the sincerity of Mother Nature.

Come here and feel it your way!

A great wee 'hidden gem' of a place. So near to the city and relatively quick and easy to get to (30 mins bus + 1 hour hike) from the CBD, yet feels as though one is way out bush. Only saw 4 other people on the trail when I headed up there on a Wednesday arvo. Amazing views looking back west over the city, as the name suggests - particularly in late arvo when the sun is going down. The local wallabies are pretty friendly too!

Very peaceful place to be especially in the morning. After not to hard of hiking the reward of being at this place is amazing.
Tip- you can bring a cup of coffee in your thermos and can enjoy a hot cup of coffee at this viewpoint, you will love it. In addition, you can find a lot kangaroos around.

Great views of the city skyline from this lookout. Is a nice run or walk to the top. Magnificent scenery and wildlife. A couple of bench seats at the top to sit down and relax on.

I visited this lookout 30km into a 50km trail race. I had a brief moment for a photo and then off I went to finish The Cleland 50, an ultra trail marathon held in June. The view was stunning, overlooking Adelaide. It was a shame I couldn't hang around longer to enjoy the view.

From the Cleland Conservation Park carpark, this lookout is about 2.5km away.

Bit of a hike to get to, but absolutely worth it for a view like this. The surrounding trails are also fantastic for running.

It's all about the view, but it's also all about the accessibility here. This is a quiet spot to take a seat (there is a bench) watch the kangaroos hopping about and look out over the city.

Walk or ride up from Waterfall Gully Road and back down in 90mins easy.
