Happy Valley Hotel Ovens

We stopped the parking area to charge Tesla and decided to wait for lunch sevice.

Best decision ever: food was tasty and the portion was huge! reasonably priced too.

Service was excellent too.

Dined here with friends and was not disappointed. Meals were excellent, friendly country pub atmosphere, welcoming staff and good service. Kudos to Liam who happily ensures all is taken care of and the service provided is an enjoyable experience.

Really impressed today, the happy valley hotel was a treat. Really good food at reasonable prices, a good variety of beer and great atmosphere. More than that, they were very welcoming of our assistance dogs (you would think a no brainer, but not always). A great country pub vibe -recommended.

Might be the epitome of the great Australian country pub. Honest menu with pub fare is brilliant and generous. Fantastic front bar area and great local selections. Highly recommend

My first ever lunch time visit on a weekday. Parma perfection. And relaxed friendly service. Great fuel stop for when cycling back along the rail trail. Will come again

Excellent meals, best we had on our weekend away

Surprisingly great food and big servings. Ordered: Caesar Salad, fish and chips, garlic bread. A little bit of a wait for our food, but well worth the visit! Lucky we found this next to a Tesla supercharger!

We stopped for a couple of ciders and found a very hospitable publican at the hotel. He told us the history of the pub. It’s one of 11 hotels that hold a continuous license since 1884. Ned Kelly frequented this pub and hid at times in its cellar. What a wonderful piece of history and nice experience to have enjoyed a snipped of time in this beautiful old establishment. Loved it.

We had the chicken Parma and pasta carbonara which was a standout dish for me. They did tell us it was going to be a long wait for the food, as they were busy, and I appreciated the heads up. Drinks are reasonable, and you need to pay for your beer separately at the front. Nice that the Tesla superchargers are just next to restaurant

Easily best pub in the area. Parma is amazing, all the food is incredibly fresh.
