Stromlo Forest Park Memorial

Lovely spot to go take a picnic. Not completely secluded but still a quiet spot. Was lovely when the wattle bushes were out in bloom. Overdue for coming back here. Small stream and little pond all in memory of the lives lost during the duffy canberra bush fires!

Either take the shuttle up for $10 a pop, or earn the descent. Lots of good rides, practice areas, fantastic

Think of this bushfire memorial as an outdoor artwork. Wander through a sculpted landscape with lots of natural plantings and an artificial stream.

Walk, sit, reflect etc.

Carpark is very close.

NOT for mountain bikes.

Fantastic space! Great for kids nature based play. Lovely contemplation spots. Great representation of the journey of the bushfire and recovery journey, and the grief journey in general. Peaceful and playful.

Quite a nice spot, bit of a little known peaceful spot. Great spot to park if you're headed up Stromlo for a ride if you don't want your car getting dirty, or its too low for the main carpark!

A beautiful place to visit. Amazing tress, greenery an birds making it such a peaceful place to be.

very nice memorial, the plants need a bit of care but thats the droughts fault
