If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. The menu, while small, was jam packed full of amazingly and carefully curated dishes that wowed the tastebuds. The kangaroo and potato egg breakfast I got was by far one of the tastiest dishes I've ever had. Incredibly tender, expertly prepared and flavours that popped with every bite. My partner got the bean, bacon and egg breakfast which was plated and prepared with love and care. Even the drinks were made to look and taste pleasing and did not disappoint. Kelly made our whole experience even better and has created a place with amazing staff, warm vibes and the best food I had in Perth. If you have questioned if you should visit, don't, just go! My only regret was I couldn't go there for dinner.

Gorgeous! The new menu is delicious and a must try, especially the Sunday Brunch. The poached salmon in beurre blanc with wattle seed was divine, fresh & rich at the same time. Must try the confit duck with plum & waffles. Favourite dish is The Avocado toast with fresh Australian botanicals, could eat that every day. The mimosas and Bloody mary's were also a massive hit, will be returning every weekend to try the whole menu!! Thanks Habitué crew, so happy to see the restaurant being revitalised! :D

A unique seasonal Australian menu (with a focus on native ingredients) paired with some warm and inviting service make for a special night out. The front courtyard with its combination of lush trees and romantic lights is perfect for enjoying the food experience on a mild Autumn evening.

Great place for a drink and a quick bite, or something larger if preferred. Really nice tapas/share plates and tasty salads are on offer. Good selection of drinks with some interesting twists on cocktails. Nice shaded front area for warm afternoon drink. Live music played regularly.

Didn’t realise the venue had changed hands, we were pleasantly surprised by the menu and the different flavour combinations. Highly recommend. The live band on a Saturday is a bonus too.

Love love love it. 👗 Up & order a cocktail. Sip it while soaking in the jazz & atmosphere. Funky wait staff, fantastic management & the chef is exceptional! These guys know how to host & U will not regret an evening spent here.

Genuinely beautiful food with no gimmicks or shortcuts, we have been here many times over the last few years and it’s an equal pleasure each time. Staff are also wonderful, very laid back community feel which is so refreshing.

The front courtyard is dog friendly too.

I had my baby shower brunch/lunch at Habitue on a Sunday and it was just fabulous! Excellent service, fabulous food, lovely atmosphere…. They were so so accommodation and flexible and everyone was raving about the venue by the end. Highly recommend to anyone hosting a small event.

Wow !! Have been meaning to come to this restaurant for quite a while , and these guys definitely did not disappoint. My wife and I booked in for the Valentines Day set menu. The food was amazing and the service was brilliant. Thankyou for a fantastic experience. Will definitely be back and letting our friends know.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The menu is very diverse with Indigenous Australian meats. Our host Katu (hope I spelled that right) was a legend. Explained every meal to us, very friendly and welcoming, and passionate about his job. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic experience. This type of Australian cuisine in my experience is rare to find (surprisingly). But this blew me away.
I came for a birthday lunch and wow. I can highly recommend the crocodile croquettes, and the kangaroo steak was wonderful!
The only slight complaint I have is that the bread labeled as “sourdough” on the menu was almost certainly not sourdough.
Wonderful experience overall and will definitely be back!!

We held a friends hens party in the courtyard at Habitue, from the moment we enquired it was a wonderful experience. All the staff were so helpful and accommodating, food was delicious, service was fantastic, and the venue was perfect. Thank you for hosting us!

The food was amazing, ambience beautiful at night and the service spot on.
Had the Ruby Snapper dish and was best fish I'd eaten all year if not ever - it was that good. Also tried the Angus Steak and it's a similarly strong dish.
If you want an exceptional meal definitely try this place!

Incorrectly booked, was accommodating to us. We sat outside. Very unique menus, flavours were spot on. Would recommend for fancy family dins, romance, or work. Stone houselike venue makes you feel like you could be anywhere in the world

Wonderful service with a sense of humour. Food is sensational. The lamb shoulder is highly recommended, enough for 2-4 people to share without going hungry. Cauliflower is a must. We were excited to see the charred octopus back on the menu as a special. The squid was delicious but not quite as delicious as the octopus.

One of my favourite restaurants. Small but delicious menu of shared food that never disappoints!
