It's an upcycle dream!!!
I stopped here for the night and to fill up water as I walked across Australia and I'm so glad I did!! The caretaker is super lovely and very helpful.
5 stars any day of the week.

Remember it's an 'experience' not a 5star retreat. Just enjoy it for its artistic awesomeness!!!

Lovely place, approximately 50km east of Southern Cross. Built on the same site as a historic pub that was demolished many decades ago.
As with many of my reviews, I’ll edit and provide better historical information once I’m more confident that I’ve got the full story.

There’s a variety of rooms and some capacity for camping although I think the camping was an “overflow” option for a large group booking. The information I’m going off suggest this location is suitable for large travel groups or work groups: conferences meetings and activities can be held in this location.

The rooms are comfortable but rustic, my room has a kitchenette and ensuite so I’m very happy with that.

Stayed here by chance when cycling from Perth to Brisbane. Just popped in on the off chance. Couldn't have been more welcoming. Made a caravan available for me. Invited me to a fantastic evening dinner. Wonderful people, friendly, knowledgeable and Peter even found time to repair my broken cycle mirror for me. Lovely nights rest in the caravan followed by a truly comprehensive breakfast. Kept me going all day on the bike. The cost for all this was so reasonable I paid double. I'm sure these nice people will make good use of the additional income.
