Must see if you have the opportunity!
+ extremely hospitable people
+ there is no wifi -> more time to talk to each other or look at the stars in the night sky.
+ lovely guest house, with everything you need.
+ if you are there at the right time, you can see the feeding of emu, kangaroo and other animals up close!
+ the family rescues different animals, like 3 different species of kangaroos, emu and birds. They have already rescued about 100 animals, rebuilt them and released them into the wild. Closer you come so quickly definitely not with these animals than here.

It was a great pleasure for us to stay there and we would do it again.

We had lovely time, hosts Ron and Laura were super accommodating and friendly. Ron was generous enough to let us stay in the house instead of the tent for 1 night as there were severe weather warnings. We were lucky enough to stay in both house and tent, both were thoughtfully fitted out and perfect for stay 👌 thanks for having us!

Ron and Laura are great hosts. Really convenient rustic location half way between Perth and Kalgoorlie. I encourage everyone to stay at least a night if they’re passing through.

We stayed two nights in the Luxury Tent and wish we’d planned to stay a night longer. Had a super relaxing and enjoyable time, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to going back again. Located in such a beautiful and underrated part of the world too.

The place was a unique and positive family getaway experience. The house was 'neat as a pin'. The host was welcoming, approachable and down to earth. The property is home to many rescue animals. It was great to witness such caring individuals that are passionate about nursing sick/injured wildlife to health to be released back into their natural habitat. Well done! We hope to return to Nulla Nulla Farm Retreat in the future.

Wow what a special place! We had a comfortable and luxurious tent out in a back field, a couple of kms from anyone else, with an outstretch of peaceful farmland as far as we could see. That night I'd never seen so many stars and we enjoyed them by our own blazing fire.

This is much better than camping (although don't expect plumbing or electricity)- with a camp toilet and shower providing hot water. Surprisingly we even had mobile phone reception. We loved the thoughtful touches such as a comfy bed and cosy linen plus the things you need such as cutlery and crockery and a bbq. There was solar lighting and lamps too.

What made our stay extra special was the warmth and hospitality of our hosts. They are genuinely kind people and also run an animal rescue service. We enjoyed watching joeys being fed, feeding the kangaroos and lambs and meeting all the birds and ponies. I highly recommend this farmstay and especially the tent for an extra special stay close to nature.

What an experience for our children! We are SO glad we broke up the drive from Perth to Kalgoorlie with a stay at Nulla Nulla. The accommodation is clean and adequate, and fully equipped for a self catering stay - but that's really not what it's about. Our children were 'free range' on a farm with baby lambs, kangaroos, ponies, chickens, climbable farm equipment - but that's still not what it's about. Ron and Laura took us all out to the most stunning granite rock outcrop, with ancient Aboriginal handprints, a wild kangaroo sanctuary and beautiful wildflowers. They took us out at night under a canopy of stars spotting wild rabbits, sheep and kangaroos with a spotlight. They helped the children handfeed orphaned lambs and roos with milk bottles. They made sure every need we had was catered for. They directed us to the best local places to visit (don't miss Westonia, it's beautiful and we would never have stopped if they hadn't told us about it). This is not a farm stay, this is a farm experience!

What a little gem this place is! Myself and 3 family members stayed in the farmhouse which made a great base to travel around Southern Cross, Marvel Loch, Bullfinch and other historic places. Ron & Laura showed us such great hospitality while giving us our own sapce and working thier butts off! Picturesque peaceful fully self contained with the most comfortable beds and pillows and shady outdoor space was a bonus after a long day sightseeing and prospecting. Get out there and see these beautiful historic towns before they disappear 😔 And make sure you stay at Nulla Nulla Farm Retreat

Loved the tent ( we stayed warm in 0 degrees") loved the hospitality of Ron and LAura, the blazing fire and stars .Loved the surrounding woodlands, and monolith ancient rocks providing great walks. Loved witnessing the sunset colours reflected in mallee trees and farm landscapes. Loved talking to Elvis the giant sheep and helping Laura and Ron feed their joeys as part of their wildlife rescue work. Thank you to Ron and Laura . Thoroughly recommend it. Southern Cross museum is worth a visit.
