By far, the best Surf and Turf I've had in years! Steak was absolutely devine and prawns tasted fresh as could be. Great size meal with veggies to compliment on a solid day driving. Well worth the stop! (By the way, even though the standard garlic cream sauce was delicious, the added mushroom sauce on the side to go with the mash just set it off perfectly!)

Ample parking out back for a double road train and a b-triple. I'll definitely be stopping in for a beer and feed when I'm coming through next time 👌

Stayed the night out back in our van. Shower & toilet facilities available - just buy a couple beers or a meal. We had a fantastic night, playing pool and probably the best value for money meal & drinks, that we have had since arriving in WA 7 months ago. Great music & atmosphere - very casual and very welcoming. Highly highly recommend.

Amazing food, fair prices and equipped with every amenity you could possibly need. The rooms have a microwave, kettle, heater, TV, private bathroom and there’s an easily accessible laundry too. The pub owners are good folk— they’re down to earth and will accomodate any need you have, if you want some company while you sip a pint at the bar they’re always eager for a chat! This place is a hidden gem along the Great Eastern. I’d recommend staying here over Southern Cross if you’re taking an overnight break.

Thought it may have been closed and nearly kept going but thankfully we didn't. There are a lot of dongers out the back, so we were a bit worried, but, the actual motel rooms are on the opposite side, beside a nice outdoor area. The room was adequate for our needs though did have a lot of road noise, which is to be expected being on the highway. The owners are friendly and welcoming. The bar area had a pool table and fire place, with a separate dining room. The food we had was very enjoyable and a very generous serve. Prices for the room, pre dinner drinks and meals where very reasonable. Would recommend staying, drinking or just dining here. Just needs a bit better signage out the front so it's not just the locals who get to experience the hospitality.

Just Camped overnight in Caravan out the back. Large area for Vans. Meals are very large and delicious. Beer is Cold and Amenities are very clean. Would highly recommend for a nights stop over.

Great place to stop and rest if you are on your way to Kalgoorlie or Perth (depending on which side you are going)
This place has rooms to let for short stays. I stopped here for some lunch, the pub had a great atmosphere with music, TV, a pool table and comfortable sitting inside and outside. The toilets at this place are also well maintained and clean. The food is reasonably priced and great quantities. Had a fish basket which came along with fries and a bowl of salad for approx $20.

Drove from SX to get a decent meal. Moorine Rock Hotel didn't disappoint. Chicken Shnitty was so bit it was hanging over the edge of the plate. Pepper sauce had real peppercorns and tasted amazing. Beer was cold and the service was top notch. We'll be back next time we're out that way.

An overnight stay on our way to Kalgoorlie. So welcoming. As soon as we walked into the bar we were offered a drink. The young man behind the bar was very friendly & entertaining. I think he has missed his calling. The rooms were very clean & decor was updated. Very nice. Meals were superb. Well worth a visit.

What a great spot for a stopover half way between Perth and Kal. We arrived hungry and tired after a few days camping and a long drive. We received a warm welcome, an award- winning chicken parmy , a comfy bed and a nice hot shower. The friendly young couple who recently bought this classic old Aussie pub were even kind enough to allow us to bring our dog, something other caravan parks and hotels would not allow. They are working hard to restore the old building and are doing a great job. Recommended!

Huge meals with a good selection and decent accommodation.
Good atmosphere in the bar and beer garden.

Great food and friendly service and staff, will definitely not go hungry as the kids meals which are the smallest are like normal adult meals and the adult meals are massive, would definitely go there again and can’t recommend them enough even if you are just passing through although do be sure to call ahead and book a table as it is necessary.
