Highly recommend his lamb curry options, especially since be slow cooks them to the point they're super soft and tender. Same goes with his beef curry. Butter chicken is also very good.

Dhaka Cafe & Indian restaurant is combination of all of those expectation. Owner & Chef Mr. Shofique, he has excellent Cooking experience ,skills & food recipes. His Naan bread, just amazing tasty. You Must try. Charcoal tandoori chicken is another delicious item he cooked for us. You Must try. His Kachhi biriyani so famous that it was finished before i come. But i ordered murug polau roast.....it was 😋😋 . rest i leave it for you guys.

I will come back with my family & friend again for next dine out. And i hope Dhaka Cafe will continue their good food and service.

A small place but very nice food. the chef runs the place and is very experienced.

There are not many options in the menu, however all dishes are tasty.

First time I ordered from here and agree with the other reviews, delicious food and excellent service. I had the Khachi biriyani and some other items and it tasted just like a home cooked meal. The chef is very talented and you can tell from his cooking. Highly recommended, thanks so much.

This is one of Canberra’s great south Asian restaurants. A humble place that serves delicious, authentic and CHEAP Bengali food. Nothing flash just great food and friendly smiles! Go check it out.

Great food and the owner is so lovely.
The restaurant does not look that fancy, but the food quality is way above the mark, which is what you want.
They also make a good Masala Chai

Ordered Jalebi, fresh made on order and delicious.

Has to be one of the best indian/bangladeshi place in Canberra. The staff are so nice. And the food is delicious and its never a dull experience. I asked the chef which curry would go best with their “kacchi biryani” and he explained me how to pair any curry with biryani and made me a curry that was not in the menu to try. And it was amazing. Shout out to the chef.

All the 5 star reviews are correct, this is easily the best Bangladeshi and Indian food! Everything is made hot and fresh to order, and so cheap for the quality. Authentic and tasty, you can’t go wrong here.

Blown away by this new restaurant! Highly recommend giving it a try! The food is amazing for a reasonable price! So much flavour in the dishes and entrees, absolutely loved the cheese and garlic naan bread 😍 beef is very tender and chicken is super tasty. Thank you so much 👍😋

Super authentic curry house. Don't be deceived by the spartan decor, this is great food at a good price, cooked in front of you. Strongly recommended.
