Lovely pub. Am coeliac and they have separate fryers for gluten free food, means chips can be eaten safely!! Was yummo with gluten free burger. Highly recommend!

A proper country pub! Very friendly staff and the locals make you feel right at home! We all really enjoyed our food and the salad bar was great! Plenty of seating however I would recommend booking on a weekend! Would highly recommend a stop here when passing through town!

Very busy pub knocking out great food. We ate 4 nights in a row and staff very very accommodating managing large and noisy groups. Definitely book and eat early. Did I say great food? Amazing. Recommend the Quandong Chicken.

Enjoyed a couple of great meals for dinner during our recent stay in Quorn. Had the Quandong chicken and King George whiting. Delicious. The pub itself has great atmosphere, with friendly locals and staff. Recommended to any traveller.

Booked a table for 3 in dining room. Sat out in punter's room. No info as to how they work. They were busy but slow to serve. The food was good. The salad a salad not 4 pieces of lettuce full stop. Very happy with the meal. Prices were good.

My partner and I travelled up on the Afghan Express from Port Augusta to Quorn, had booked a table for lunch before we our return trip. We found the service was slow, but with the number of people the hotel staff were serving, it was understandable.
The meal was fantastic with a couple of alcohol beverages (not driving) we can not complain, great business, certainly recommend the Transcontinental Hotel, any traveller should stop in

I had two very nice meals here recently. I really enjoyed the salad and the veggie that was served with the meal. Unlike so many places these days, they provided a good size serving of salad or veg, included with the main meal. Everyone in my group enjoyed theirs too. The place is always busy.

Great food, great prices. Kids even ate all their nuggets and chips. Cold beers and nice friendly staff with great service. The flys can be a bit annoying in the beer garden.

Made an unscheduled lunch on the way back to Adelaide. I am so glad we did.
I ordered a Special, Chilli Con Carne for $18 and my Wife ordered Chicken Tenders with Veggies for $16. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals in front of the open fire.
Very quick friendly service meant we were back on the road quicker than expected.
Definitely worth a stop!
5 Star Rating.

Great meals. Friendly staff. Bit on the pricier side ($18 for a burger). Good opening hours and you can enjoy both lunch and dinner as there are not many shops open in the area for dinner.

Went here with 50 odd friends after the Pichi Richi railways experience for lunch, all tried to be first in line. Yes they got busy, but handled it brilliantly. Pleasing smile and courteous service. More importantly cold beer! We order fish and it was cooked expertly.

Stopped in here yesterday for lunch, food was delicious! Had the Spencer Gulf King George Whiting and it was 10/10, one of the best pieces of fish ive ever had. Staff were very welcoming and friendly!
