A fantastic, local community park. Plenty of room for a cub scout pack to race some rafts down the creek without disturbing people too much and lots of shade for when the weather gets warm. Also has a kid's swings and climbing frame as well as a relatively new obstacle course.

Nice park and a good break from Kingston shopping centre. There are a variety of facilities including a cycle path, playground and electric bbq. hoped to see platypus in the creek that winds its way through the park but unfortunately the platypus were perhaps sleeping or on holidays - another day perhaps.

Beautiful yellow leaves in Autumn with some falling. Lots of leaf fun for kids and play pooh sticks by throwing sticks or leaves into stream to see how far they will go

One of my favourite parks in Canberra. Sri Chinmoy use it for a lot of their runs and I loved running around it, especially in a beautiful fog. Well maintained and cared for.

Recently visited for the first time with my 2 year old son. Lovely playground with climbing equipment, slide and swings, plus drums and metal pipes to create music. About 20m away there are several sections of concrete pipe for kids to play in (climb through etc), within a landscaped garden with some native grass etc.

There is a BBQ area with tables close to the play equipment. There are also public toilets close by, and when I used the Ladies it was ok in terms of cleanliness (by Australian standards).

There is also a creek that runs through the middle of the park which makes for nice atmosphere.

There are lots of shady areas from the many large trees, so it would be really nice to have a picnic in warm weather.

The park has a peaceful aura to it with a kids and toddler play area. In terms of location there is a working barbecue for those family picnics with sufficient seating space. The waterfall like effect in the middle of the park does give a sense of peace.

Great playground for toddlers through to early primary. We especially love the area behind the swings with the pipes, etc. Take gumboots if you go their after it has rained, as you can find lots of shallow puddles to jump in.

Very nice park for a walk, a run, a picnic or just a moment away from the big city... Big beautiful trees of different kinds, nice trails to follow and a children's playground at one end.
