White Elephant Cafe - Margaret River

The White Elephant Cafe in Margaret River exceeded our expectations in every way. The place itself is stunning, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully prepared, and their cruise added an extra layer of charm to the experience. Moreover, the friendly staff made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience in Margaret River!

This place would get 5 stars for its location alone, being right on the beach with views out to the ocean. But I am also happy to report that the food and coffee are excellent. Even more of a surprise (especially in this region) is the reasonable price. We had a delicious rueben and spicy chicken burger.
The staff are really friendly too.

The location and the view is amazing!!

You have outdoor seating while you see the beach in front.
Otherwise, if you are bothered by the flies, you can sit inside.

The Nashville chicken burger was really good. So was breakfast burger. You can also try the iced mocha.

White Elephant Beach Cafe, Margaret River is a hidden gem. The views are amazing and there is a beach for swimming or snorkeling. Plenty of parking.
The Breakfast Menu caters for most dietary requirements and the coffee is very good. Setting is inside or outside, both areas give you an opportunity to soak up the view. Recommend.

Loved it, had breakfast here every day, fascinating view. One of my highlights of Margaret river definitely. Just watch out for the seagulls! One of they stole half of my croissant from my plate 😂

What an amazing place to have breakfast! Originally we were planning to have breakfast in Margaret River but changed at the last minute. Had to wait a while however it was worth it as the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great and the view was amazing!! Would recommend!

Such an amazing spot! Lots of seats both outside and inside with the incredible view. The bagels were so good along with the poached egg on toast. The service was great and the location just hits the spot.

Recommend you come in early as the place gets packed, but plenty of seats available outside for the lovely beach view, however it’s too cold for us on that particular morning, so we got takeaway coffees instead. Would definitely love to come back here again when it’s not too windy.

Loved having g breakfast here overlooking the beach. The food was great. Would be excellent for families as the eating area overlooks the sandy beach.

Late lunch staff very friendly and welcoming. All eight at our table thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Fish wrap was delicious. Fabulous views.

Beautiful spot. My husband and I sat outside with our dog enjoying a stunning view of the beach. It was a perfect and relaxed vibe to enjoy a delicious breakfast.
We had the Spanish Eggs, and the Rueben Toastie with the addition of a fried egg.
The service was quick and friendly, and we were impressed with the food. The Spanish Eggs were full of flavour, and it was great that the dish came with 3 slices of sourdough, to soak up all the tasty sauce.

This place is certainly worth a visit on your next trip to Margaret River. We will definitely be returning! 🙂

A sensational location above and overlooking the beach. Right alongside the boat ramp there is a never-ending hustle of folks getting to and from the water and beach.
Loads of outdoor seating, friendly and obliging staff with quality meals and a varied menu. Tables can be booked and it's worth doing.
It's not their fault but parking can be a challenge.

Lovely cafe, easy to find, plenty of parking although you may have an easy 3minute walk if can't get a close spot. Toilets are tidy, showers for beach goers. Quite a few tables/benches/seats, however I imagine weekends or holidays could be packed. Menu is nice, several GF options for our family. Currently chips as a side on it's own is not an option due to a shortage, however it can still be ordered as part of a meal. Food and coffee was hot and delicious. The view is lovely, just be aware of the seagulls - if you get up from your table unfinished they will attack your meal! Staff were very friendly, prompt with the cleaning and even put my daughters bag aside for safekeeping when she left it there!

My husband and I visited twice when we were in Margaret River. The first time we sat out on the deck to enjoy the beautiful views of the beach. I had smashed pumpkin, which is one of their signature dishes. My husband had the breakfast burger. Absolutely delicious and washed down with amazing coffee.

The second visit was on a rainy day, so we had to sit inside. It's open and airy, with nice decor. I had the smashed avocado, and hubby had another breakfast burger (they are that good).

You place your order up at the till. You are given a number, and they will bring the food to your table, but for the drinks and coffee, you are given a buzzer, so you will need to go back up to the counter to get it.
There are no problems with this, as it means that food gets out to the customers effectively.

We tried this cafe twice during our trip. Beautiful location near the beach. Excellent food and service. Flat white and egg dishes were perfect!

Came here for brunch and was instantly floored by the location of the cafe - it’s perched atop a beach and overlooks fantastic views of the sea and sand. Very cosy layout to have breakfast and brunch.. ordered the truffle mushroom and scrambled egg toasts and they were so delicious!!! Especially the truffle mushroom ones that just explodes with flavours in your mouth. The hot chocolate also did not disappoint at all.. and was a sweet treat on a cold day :) Highly recommend!

Very busy, great food and quick service

Just attended a wedding here and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were so attentive and friendly it seemed that they were Guests too. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I would recommend this establishment for any event. Top notch venue.
