We were fortunate to have a Melbourne Cup luncheon. The food was great, the staff friendly and the atmosphere alive. It was like a happy family gathering. Great value and the food was abundant. The desert platter took two days to consume :-) twas yummy.

Came here by accident and so glad we did. Friendly greeting and good service.

Both the normal and gluten free pizzas were excellent and I appreciate the amazing selection of toppings. The Thai pizza and satay chicken pizza were both beautiful with authentic flavours. The lamb kebabs were well cooked.

However one of the best things is also one of the simplest that so many places get wrong. The chips were so well seasoned! See my picture.

Had an absolutely a love dinner meal! The Fried Halloumi Chips with Peri-Peri Sauce were yummy, and our mains of the Chicken Florentine and the BBQ pulled pork 12” pizza filled us greatly. We also paired it with a pear cider and the fruit tingle cocktail - very refreshing.

Our sweet tooth had a look at the dessert menu and we picked the Banana caramel pie and the warm chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. Both were yummy and made sure we were both full at the end of it.

The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, will be back to try out some more food!

As I had given up smoking some time ago, but on this particular night I was craving for a cigarette ( just One cigarette ) I thought instead of buying a package of cigarettes I would go to Oscars Restaurant and Cathy served me as I walked in to the restaurant and she was very nice and professional and I didn't detect any Tattoos on her which is important to me because I don't like tattoos on any body. But that's just me no offence intended. I shall return to Oscars Restaurant again when next I get a cravings for a smoke because their food is better for me than a commercial cigarette. Even I don't have a cravings for a smoke I will go on a Set day each month. It supports employment.

Oscars restaurant have good meals and wine. I love their brick oven pizza available in 9" and 12" sizes and the rosé wine. They also have choices for dessert. I would love to visit them again.

Decor: Converted old house, 2 rooms and outside areas. Varnished, wooden tables, no table clothes, comfortable chairs. Relaxed and casual.
Service: Welcoming, friendly, helpful, and professional. Quick (18 minutes from ordering until food received) and it was fairly busy.
Ambience: Pleasant, we were seated in the covered outside area, and despite it being cool and drizzling, we were quite warm. Easy to carry on a conversation where we were, but the inside rooms seemed a lot noisier.
Menu: wide range, predominantly Mediterranean - from bruschetta and arancini through pasta to scallopini and pizza, plus chef's specials.
Food: Really good, we had the Scallopini and the chef's special barramundi. The scallopini was nicely cooked, the mushroom sauce rich and flavoursome, the potatoes, carrots and broccolini were all excellent. The barramundi was juicy, the hollandaise sauce and pilaf rice complemented it well, and the zucchini, capsicum and broccolini were beautifully cooked. The sticky date pudding for dessert was light and tasty.
Prices: a bit on the high side, but reasonable for the quality of food.
Highly recommended.

Bruschetta was amazing with fabulous bread. Great pizza. Perhaps the pasta may not be the best - ot really al dented and the sauce perhaps a little thin and not particularly flavoursome. The staff though should be commended as they are always very friendly and smiling.

What a lovely little place, staff were very friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed whilst dining there. The food is decently priced for the area and presented nicely upon serving, highly recommend their arancini balls for starters and their flat garlic and cheese bread. I'd say the only let down was the risotto was very oily, some may like it like that and the seasonal vegetables with the grain fed steak was simply broccolini and that was it, cooked beautifully mind you as well as the steak.
They also have a nice array of different gins to try which was nice as not many offer anything more than just ordinary gin and tonic and the cocktails looked great but didn't get to try them. The desserts were very tasty and again a nice selection to choose from. We went with the warm chocolate cake with ice cream and were very pleased, it was a great end to our meal.
Over all it was a lovely dining experience and will definitely be going again as there is plenty of menu to choose from, kiln pizzas, pasta, salads and more. Highly recommend if you're in the area or looking for something different then the usual pub meal.

Good selection of dishes and the entrees and mains we had were very tasty and good size dishes.

Extensive wine list with many local wines, beers and ciders at reasonable prices.

Was impressed with this place. First time I've visited here, the food was beautiful and staff was pleasant. Reasonable pricing. Good experience, I would recommend it. Pizzas are absolutely amazing.

Went for dinner on Friday night for 2 of us and to say it was great is an understatement ! From the moment we walked in, it was exceptional service with a smile. The food was high quality as well, hot and fresh. Staff checked in at the right times to make sure we were all good and if we needed anything. Overall such an amazing restaurant, the service I can not express how amazing it was. If I’m ever in mclarenvale again, I will 100% be back with out a doubt

Always tasty.
Although they make the classic Cafe mistake with their marinara...way too heavy a sauce, takes away from the delicate flavour of the fish and makes everything taste like stew.

Excellent service, super friendly staff. Chilli pizza was amazing as was the pasta. Highly recommend. Just make sure you book ahead as books out quickly

This was some of the best food across the board we have had all trip, possibly the best. The steak was perfectly cooked and presented, the dessert was so good and the entree was specifically made to be gluten free. They didn't have a gluten free sauce for the steak, so they made a special pepper sauce that was to die for. The staff are very friendly and attentive. It was a little chilly outside and even though we said nothing, they moved us inside to a warmer position. I can't rate this place highly enough.

Great service, lots of choice for food, food came out quickly and hot, food tasted amazing wish I had a bigger stomach to eat more. Would definitely recommend and go back again :)
