Really loved having lunch here. Great service, including table service, good, extensive menu with various options. We went for two different salad options and were pleasantly surprised. I think a good salad needs as careful "cooking" as any other dish. And these were exceptionally good. Great drinks list as well. Various seating options available. If you are in the area, do yourself a favour and go in.

Amazing service and great food. Went for a drive through the Adelaide Hills and we were glad we stopped. Open fire was great. Cosy pub with great atmosphere. Will definitely return

The food at the Oakbank is amazing, arguably the best ribs I have ever had. The Oaky has the coldest beers in the hills! Don’t get me started on the outdoor area, great area for all occasions and events.

Great local hotel having fabulous owners & truly lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them in making every visit very enjoyable. Highly recommend!!

Had dinner with my partner on Monday, 27th May. Exceptional and wonderful experience from very polite staff. I went to try the Porterhouse Wagyu MS 8-9 and it did not disappoint. Cooked exactly to my liking! This meat is so great that even cooked at well done, remains soft and buttery. Highly recommend.

Our group had a variety of dishes, the ocean trout, with prawns, mash and garlic sauce was amazing! The others said their Osso Bucco and Chicken Kiev were very good. Very , very reasonable prices for bottles of wine too. Great night thank you

Front bar, dining room and great outdoor area with games for the kids.
Food was pretty tasty, good variety of beers on offer.
Will come back when the weathers nice & sit outside which will top off the overall experience

Had a 4 day stay in the Adelaide Hills and the Oakbank Hotel's Menu caught our eye. After a dozen of the best Oysters Kilpatrick we've had in ages, the Garfish meal had the lightest batter and was cooked to perfection retaining the distinctive Garfish flavour. The service from the restaurant staff was first class and from our seats we saw them give every patron the same friendly demeanour. As my wife said, "I wish every Pub Restaurant had the same quality food and service 😋 "

I had a very good experience, from mark delivering delicious drinks and greg in the kitchen cooking up and absolute storm, I would rate the Oakbank hotel 11/10 thank you Craig for providing such a good experience

OMG - we had an amazing dinner here - although we were late in to eat our schnitzels were huge and super, super yummy. Cosy front bar with fire. Great service. Love, love, love - would definitely go back 💕

Another fantastic example of a Adelaide Hills Hotel with all the trimmings.

Quality pub grub with a chef who definitely knows how to respect and grill a steak, generous sides and tasty sauces.

Also has an awesome grassy outdoor space to kick your shoes off and spend a summers day with the kids.
Special shout out to Lauren for exceptional and sincere service.

Really fabulous country pub. We sat out front with our two dogs.
Food came out really quickly. Huge parmigiana and the arancini balls were a fabulous choice for a small eater.
Dishes were tasty, well presented and good prices. Extensive menu with good selections of entrees for those who want small serves.
Drink prices okay. Great service.
The beer garden looked fabulous but no dogs allowed. Big lawn area.

Came and ate lunch with my dad here today service was very nice the food was absolutely amazing the arancini balls were delicious… we will be back in July for our pre wedding dinner.

Brilliant food, great spot for a quick stop in to avoid cooking or a long catch up with mates on the lawn, highly recommend

We had 400gm steak with eggs and tomatoes as well as lamb cutlets, couscous with greek salad. Absolutely awesome. Craig and Hayley very welcoming hosts and Greg fantastic chef. Great outdoors area for families. Would thoroughly recommend.

Went here with a group of friends. All of us couldn't speak more highly of the service and food. Had a great experience, we will definitely be back
