Great place to visit in Woodside in the Adelaide Hills
We went into Melba’s chocolate factory to have a look
It has grown and changed so much over the years
We were unlucky it was the weekend and they were not making any chocolates or sweets
After being there numerous times years ago it was so interesting watching them make the sweets
I would go on a week day or ring and ask them if they are making sweets or chocolates before my next visit
Still a great place to visit and bought lots of chocolates

Always a delight to visit this place, its like heaven! Came back and brought my sister and her family from Canberra. They were so busy and would like to buy the whole collection of different chocolates and nuts. They cant even resists to buy more when they saw it in Monarto Zoo. They said “aaww if we can go back again!”. Told them definitely Melba will be part of our itineraries when we visit Adelaide
again. Good customer service and
loved the atmosphere💖

That place sells chocolates in various flavors and shapes.
It's another heaven for chocolate lovers.
I was also able to see the chocolate making process inside.
It was a pleasant experience for me :)

How can you go wrong with chocolate??
I ordered an iced hazelnut chocolate milk from the little cafe in the factory (after spending way too much money in the chocolate factory area 🤤). It was just delicious.
They have a great range of iced chocolates and hot chocolates with unique flavours.

The staff were absolutely lovely and super helpful.

(Cheese tasting and whisky and gin tasting next door to the factory was fantastic as well).

Omg!!! What a range of chocolates and nuts, hard to keep self control..for small and big kids! The best part is they have small and big packs both, so easy to get through ;)
Their coffee shop has a great range of hot chocolates to try from and outdoor, is set of games to have fun with.
If it interests you, then could look at the chocolate making process too.

We visited this wonderful place before Christmas 2022 with two of our grandchildren. It has an ice-creamery and coffee area just inside the main entrance. Delicious Golden North ice cream is available and barista made coffee. Even hot chocolate drinks in a variety of fantastic flavours are available. The range of chocolates and sweets is incredible in the main selection area. The old fashioned posters and containers are fascinating. Once the shopping is done, there is a basic playground area for children outside. A real gem found only in the Adelaide Hills!

Always an awesome place to visit. It’s a cute and beautiful location and has the best hot chocolate you have ever tasted. On sundays they have lawn games and a great spot to chill and eat your chocolate/ have a coffee. Every type
Of chocolate and lollies you could think of.
Highly recommended 😁

Found this place by accident, as I was driving back to my motel and so glad I did.
It is amazing. I bought enough chocolate and gifts for my family. I sampled some and it is divine. I also had a honeycomb hot chocolate. Who ever came up with the flavours deserves a pat on the back.

You'll have to exercise self control visiting here. Great range of different locally manufactured chocolates and other delicious treats. Stop by and chat to people working and witness the cooking process.

Really nice place to get your chocolates. A bit far from Hahndorf and Adelaide. Pricing is quite reasonable. Parking readily available outside. There's an outdoor area for kids activities.

A very unexpected Chocolate lovers paradise in a quiet little town.
In no way does the lovely old barn appear to be a chocolate factory from the outside but the moment you walk inside you'll be feeling like a kid in a candy store!
So much to choose from and so much to try, all the way around the room are samples to taste to help make your selection easier (or harder for any chocolate lover because you'll just want more).
The staff are all super friendly and go about their day to day of processing and packaging.
Very exciting visit for the whole family with lovely undercover eating out front where you can enjoy your selection with a nice cold drink or fresh coffee from the cafe inside.
I highly recommend one of the chocolate bags, very good value for money with lots inside.

An old fashioned chocolate factory that definitely worth a visit if you are a chocolate fan.
Has all kinds of flavour, drinks and ice cream.

They also provide a playground outside. Kids will love this play for sure.

The Hot Chocolates (Milk and White Chocs) we had were sublime in smoothness and taste. On first taste - "Oh, dear Lord ...".
Stephanie, who'd prepared our drinks, is a very pleasant person and helpful with some tips from the locals' point of view. Thank you, Stephanie and Melba Chocolate Factory.

Great place to stop and visit. Our favourite is the shot of chocolate with dipping marshmallows $3.

It's definitely worth buying an extra bag of marshmallows or having some strawberries ready to go as you always have lots of dipping chocolate left over after.

We picked up some great looking white choc chips to make biscuits tomorrow.

Also great to see a shop supporting the wildlife and making Easter bilbies whilst donating to a good cause.

SO MUCH FUN! we even got to try a tasting while watching of the workers was super exciting. Go here and buy from the discount bin. We got a massive amount of chocolate so cheap. It's absolutely delicious and an awesome experience.

Was surprised because the chocolate actually tasted good. Kids love this place for the samples and seeing how it’s all made. It’s very hard to visit without buying something. Be warned. It’s also a lovely drive to get there so enjoy the day

Here's a great place to bring interstate visitors or anyone with a sweet tooth.
They have a great range of chocolates and other sweets. You can see confectionery being made and get the best hot chocolate you've ever tasted.
But here's a tip from parents of a toddler: white chocolate doesn't necessarily mean less mess.
