Marigold

Marigold is absolutely my favourite Indian restaurant in Clifton Hill.
The service is good and the place is clearly popular. It's worth considering a booking if you are wanting to eat at peak times.
I highly recommend the samosa as well as the cauliflower pakora.
The curries have a zing however they will make then to your desired level of spice.
Well priced and good quality. Thumbs up.

Beautiful food - had Lamb Korma and chicken Madras. Bread was delicious -Aloo Paratha. Sauces with papadums and Samosas was very good. Definitely going to eat here again.

Amazing staff and owner, loved the food

Lovely food. Good serves. Staff are lovely. The Indian vanilla icecream and cheese balls in syrup were the best I've tasted in decades. Have been coming here since it first opened and it's been consistent in it quality and staff.

Very good service, good menu … not overly extensive. Food was very good quality all around. They know how to prepare their curry and special naan Prices were reasonable

We ordered from Marigold Indian last night and made the mistake of ordering through Menu log. Sadly the menu log guy/gal disappeared with our food and so we had to wait 2 hours however the restaurant were incredible about it once notified as the restaurant director delivered a fresh order in person and it was great food! Especially the chicken vindaloo! In future we will order direct from the restaurant as the food really was amazing!

The decor is dated and ambience is missing but if you want authentic Indian food, full of flavor, quality ingredients and friendly staff…this place is the go to place. It’s the closest to a British curry you can get in Australia….and that’s a compliment for sure!

I was looking for good Indian food & trust me after a long wait, I really got such a taste which makes me smile & food is really amazing. You want to remember your Mum please go & visit them & you will seriously smile like me

Food was very very good. I had the mushroom daal and my wife had prawn malai. So much flavour and good portion sizes. We shared rice and still had some left. Reasonably priced and very nice staff. Suburban restaurant with city standard food. We'll be back.

I ordered the lamb biryani, chicken tikka, butter chicken, and garlic naan for takeaway. All the dishes were great, only the butter chicken was a bit sweet for my liking. The lamb biryani was definitely my favorite of all! Thanks for the 15% off during this trying time :)

The best Indian restaurant in the area, and one of the best I have been to overall. The MoMos are unbelievably tasty and all the dishes we have tried have been very good. It does get busy just about every night, so book ahead.

This has been my favourite Indian place for quite a few years now. I always order medium hot curries and it comes out perfect every time. The staff are also very friendly and professional.
