I’ll do a lot of work to hunt down decent croissants, and so while I was in Albany I found this place. Small, but friendly and clearly a serious bakery, the croissant was good, crisp exterior, buttery, but slightly bready inside. The chocolate croissant was top notch and the coffee excellent. It also had a lovely atmosphere with lovely bakery smells and a lively clientele. Limited seating, so keep an eye out.

My favourite coffee stop in Albany. Always busy with locals and visitors from Perth. The pastries and sandwiches are top notch 👍🏼😋

Love this spot. Have been back multiple times while in Albany. I've tried most of the baked goods now accompanied by nice Oat flat white coffee.

Being away from Germany for almost 6 weeks, this is the first time I have had the chance to get some „real“ bread into my hands. Same applies for their Croissants- they taste like in France, ok, almost, not as greasy - which is even way better. Prices are high, indeed. But the quality and taste of the food are to my observations absolutely worth it. As I was not able to find a vegetarian option suitable, the (supposedly) shop owner offered me to stuff a fresh made one, which I luckily bought into. This „sandwich“ was one of the best I have ever eaten! Sliced between some German-style whole grain grey bread, the cheese was accompanied by a creative and delicious mix of humus, salads and a decent sauce.

Their secret is their mill next door - on display from the shop,. The Austrian original obviously allows them to grind the flour in the necessary dimensions, and this is what almost all other bakeries lack. Accordingly, they are equipped with the precious ingredients to come up with a variety of baking goods, which hold every comparison with European equivalents.

The Coffee - in a nutshell, it perfectly matched the great bread. The nicely tattooed and charming Barista created a tasteful blend and added a nice layer of oat milk. She was exceptionally friendly and took great care of cleanliness and temperature management of the hot drinks without generating any waiting times, even though the shop was pretty busy.

They offer to serve the hot beverage into nice porcelain cups, environmentally friendly.

Unfortunately, we had to continue our travel, so I could not spend a second visit to this treasure box. When I cross Albany the next time, I am eagerly looking forward to enjoying the Bred Bakery again.

A fantastic little bakery, stopped in to get some breakfast pastries and was delighted to find out they do veggie breakfast pasties as well as some very delicious chocolate pastries. I highly recommend visiting and would come back if I was in Albany again!

Bread store, specialized in sourdough and viennoiserie, serving coffee as well.

Would rate 9 out of 10, on the Google scale I go for 5. That is because of the fresh baked tasty pastries and good custom made coffees. Get ready for the naked three quarter almond cappucino world!

Small cozy coffee corner and friendly staff. Keep an eye on tidyness and cleanliness🙏

GREAT COFFEE AND FOOD. Small in stature big on taste. Highly recommend this place and was our go to for morning coffee and almond croissant. Grabbed a couple of rolls, chicken and slaw and a pulled pork one for our Bald Head walk(that’s a great walk for the fitter readers😉) delicious and helped us get through the walk🤣..
You won’t be disappointed if a coffee snob☕

Great sourdough bakery, fresh made into all types of bread including dark, light, brown, white breads and other shapes. Includes yummy cakes and pastries a must go too while in lovely Albany. NB: We went back today after a long period away and scored the home made pumpkin soup & baguette to go, yummy. And in the morning we sat with an almond latte each, in unique pottery cups, and it's then that we met the lovely lady's, one the barrista, the other the main front counter lady, both charming and friendly, who will lure us back time and again; groovey local coffee bakery place on the edge of a main roundabout atop of York Street; see you there!

A shining light for baked goods on the South West coast! Delicious pastries, bread and sandwiches made with locally grown & milled flour. Bright little pickles and condiments in the fridge and great coffee.

Best gluten free bread I have ever had. Enjoy it toasted or just as is. It is great both ways. Not dry and very tasty. We discovered Bredco at the Albany Saturday Market. So glad we did. I have tried hundreds of loaves from other bakeries and even make my own sourdough every week. Bredco gets 1st prize if you like a dense, flavourful sourdough. Make yourself a sandwich.

So glad they were open on new years day! Coffee was amazing using delicious local coffee beans and milk lab, I had the roast chicken and stuffing sasuage roll which was a Sunday roast wrapped in a flaky parcel of goodness, and the strawberry custard Puff pastry which was so balanced not too sweet and light.

Really delicious pastries. Bought 10. A little on the pricey side but still a good bakery. Wished we stayed longer in Albany so that we could try the breads as well.

A really lovely cafe/bakery. Perfect coffee and beautiful locally made bread on site. Even the flour is ground on site from local wheat. A real gem for Albany.

Bacon and Egg croissant was next level amazing! Devo it took 5 days into our holiday to try this joint. The coffee is far superior to any others we had in Albany. They also use locally sourced grain and mill their own flour for their handmade pasta which we will be sure to try next visit. Thank you for your awesome service 😁
