Had a absolutely wonderful meal at Zaika this evening. We had onion bhaji to start and it was a delicious start to the evening. We then had butter chicken and hara bara lamb and Kashmiri naan and rice for the main.. all the mains were excellent… this is will become our go to Indian restaurant… Do yourself a favour and give Zaika a go!!

What a beautiful change! I believe they have changed hands recently. Excellent service and food!

Although menu still the same, I found a real Indian taste. Many dishes are designed to be shared. There is range of option for people they require gluten free foods or vegetarian diets.

Garlic naan was very nice. Chicken tikka and awsome chicken haryali by your liking fantastic.  I have order medium to hot and it was just as I requested. Rice too was nice.

I am sure I will visit Zaika from now on more often. And will recommend it to everyone.

The food was great, we ordered paneer chilly and shahi paneer and it felt like we are having authentic Indian food. Couple of requests that we made were fulfilled happily. They are very co-operative and friendly.

Must try Indian restaurant, lot of people were complimenting for the non-vegetarian food as well.

This restaurant has changed ownership, recently. We so enjoyed the excellent food and friendly service. We can highly recommend. Loved the Tandoori chicken. Prices are very reasonable.

Another great authentic Indian meal Goan Fish and Bara Hara Lamb. Well done guys it’s the best Indian bayside authentic, flavoursome and quality ingredients.

Ive had rogan josh and garlic naan and kulfi, it was very good, satisfied my indian taste buds and the kulfi is must recommended. Also the delivery guy was good as he waited quite a bit while i couldnt take his call.

It was amazing food. I tried the chicken tikka masala and the keema naan and it was so fresh and flavorsome.i cant wait to be back agaain

This is a lovely restaurant with a homely touch. Expect great, fresh food with quick and efficient service. The staff are friendly but not intrusive - which is much appreciated when one wants a quiet night with family. The ambience is basic and there is adequate parking all around. They get busy on weekends so it's good to book in advance.

Had Roti and Palak Paneer. The food was good, Roti was very soft and the Palak Paneer was loaded with lots of Paneer and was very tasty. The staff were friendly.

I visited this place for the first time, and very happy with the curries. I requested extra mild and they gave me what I needed.

We have really enjoyed our meals from this restaurant. We have taken the opportunity to eat in and also for takeaway and found the food of excellent quality, tasty and well presented. Staff have also been helpful, attentive and professional.
Would recommend this restaurant with out reserve based on experiences.

Thank you so much Zaika!! We recently had a birthday dinner for 20 people and Sunny opened the kitchen especially on a Monday (they are usually closed) to cater for us!
The food was outstanding as usual, and all our guests loved it! Suni was extremely easy to deal with, he helped create the menu, it was reasonably price, and they gave us plenty more than we had ordered! We often get takeaway from Zaika, it is absolutely delicious, and our favourite Indian by far!
We are moving out of Beaumaris this year, however, will happily drive all over Melbourne just to eat here! Couldn't be more delighted, thanks again.

Been here several times and have loved the food and service every time.

The food is great albeit not spicy. If you like your Indian food spicy hot then you will need to ask them.

If not then this is perfect. A great restaurant to bring kids because the food tastes fantastic without being hard for them to eat.

The service is always very friendly.

Prices are modest. Dinner for four about $120 with spare food for leftovers tomorrow!

Zaika is one of the most authentic Indian restaurants I have tried in Melbourne!! Their food was delicious and their mango lassi was superb (in taste and appearance!!). Their staff was fantastic to interact with and really friendly, helpful, and polite. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely come again!! :D

Since lockdown we have reacquainted ourselves with Zaika on a weekly basis...thank goodness! Having just finished tonight's feast ( delivered by the restaurant themselves in less than 20 minutes) our food was beautifully spiced, great quality in terms of both meat and veg, where everything was both hot (temperature) and fresh. The butter chicken is great in terms of smoky flavour altough we always go medium spiced. We have Indian friends who have run very successful restaurants and know they would love this food. We had a large group on a Saturday night and the staff were excellent. Very timely and responsive, even though the restaurant was packed.

The food was top notch- hard to pick a favourite, but all of our guests especially enjoyed the lamb entree, and would highly recommend the Haryali chicken. There were great vegetarian options and the kids were happy too!

Looking forward to going back!

Fantastic local favourite near my boyfriend’s house. They have a great selection of dishes on the menu and we have enjoyed every one we’ve tried. When you call and order, the food is always ready in the time frame you’re told and the staff are very friendly. When we’ve eaten in, there’s been a lovely atmosphere as well.
