Lipari Gelato Bar

Tasty gelato but flavours were quite limited.
Their serving size is pretty large just for a 2 scoop cup compared to other gelato bars, it's equivalent to a large! Something I truly appreciate!

Lipari Gelato Bar sells a range of gelato flavours, as well as milkshakes, hot drinks, cookies and cake. What stood out to me most is the friendliness of the staff and the unusual flavours. I was even allowed to have a small taste of an additional flavour which was well appreciated. The scoops were large and it was $5.50 for one scoop, $7 for 2 & $8.50 for 3 which is cheaper than what it seems at most gelato bars. There are various gluten-free and vegan flavours.

Charming little spot on High St. Had a rum and raisin iced coffee for a mere $6 - very nice.

I didn’t have my card and the staff were lovely about it and let me come back pay later.

During lock-down in Melbourne it's difficult to get out and enjoy the local offering from stores like the Lipari Gelato Bar. Found a pamphlet in the mailbox and thought I'd sample their offerings. I wasn't disappointed. Delicious flavours available each week for delivery to my door.

WoW, what a beautiful place to visit and chill. The staff is friendly and courteous in a nice clean environment. The servings are excellent as are the flavours. A great treat when visiting Thornbury.

Stumbled across this whilst walking down High St. Lovely young girl behind the counter with excellent personality and customer service skills. Gelato was excellent. Recommend Black Vanilla.

The ice cream taste like heaven! Today is my first time to visit Lipari Gelato Bar. I purchased 4 ice cream with 2 scoops each for me, my husband and 2 kids. I was in a rush since my family were in the car. The service was fantastic! I had the pancake & maple syrup & amarena! It’s so delicious! My hubby had the lemon & lime & mango. My 2 boys had chocolate & milo. All of us enjoyed our ice cream! Thank you and will be visiting again for sure!

I saw the lady working here deal with an extremely rude customer in a manner I have never seen before. True professionalism. The ice cream was amazing also. Will definitely return 10/10

Been a few times myself and friends the best gelato ice cream milk shakes and coffee ☕ in town. The staff is very nice and polite especially Kayla 😀 😊 nice atmosphere to relax and enjoy a nice gelato on a sunny day 💞

Great new family-run GELATO bar in the heart of Thornbury. Wonderful array of flavours along with great coffee, cakes and waffles.
Late opening hours are convenient as I was there after dinner. The rich flavour of the lemon sorbet along with the Vegan hazelnut are my favourites. I cant wait to try the rest of the other menu/flavours.

Flavours change on a regular basis, and I’ve never had a bad one! My favourites tend to be the different cheesecake flavours on rotation and the apple pie - yum.
With so many dinner options along High St, it’s my spot for dessert after :)

Delicious gelato! Does not taste artificial like most places. Strawberry has real strawberry chunks! Yum. Friendly service also, the Icecream man lets you try all the flavours you want and is not rushing you along.

This is a local favourite of ours. There's always a great range of shop made flavours to choose from, that are delicious, and they cater really well to vegan and lactose intolerant folk. Staff are lovely too :).

Generous servings (one scoop will be suffice for any adult), quality gelato, great service. Has become my go-to gelato place in area.

Awesome place to go anytime for a sweet treat. You get more than you bargain for in the serving of gelato from the friendly and courteous staff.

Best traditional Italian Gelato. Fresh ingredients, no crazy artificial colors and flavors like some of the touristy Lygon street spots🤮 Cheap home delivery during Lockdown. Love stopping by in the evening for a cheeky midweek scoop or Affogato. Grazie Mille 🇮🇹
