Absolutely fantastic 👏 👌 6 Star!!!
Do yourself a favour, take yourself back in time for an authentic Australian historical experience. The owners are passionate and extremely knowledgeable, as is Tony, the tourguide. The front of the building offers an excellent variety of souvenirs. Pay a small fee and go through an inner door to the world of Ned Kelly and Clan. This is by far the best tourist attraction at Glenrowan, so make sure you have time to soak it all in. You'll walk through a replica of Kate's Cottage....including items which belonged to both the Kelly family and police force of the era. The photographic account of the infamous seized is by far, second to none. Parking at the front door or turn the corner to view the outstanding mural. You will not be disappointed. We'll be back for more! School excursions and tour coaches also visit. Charge your mobiles...because owner Doug and his lovely wife encourage taking videos and photos.

The perfect place to go to, to learn all about Ned Kelly and his Family’s History. The Bus Tour is also an Excellent way to find out what really happened in the “Siege at Glenrowan”. The Owners are excellent at informing you all about the history with the collection of photos, reports, and more. Go take a look – you will not be disappointed!

The Ned Kelly Kate's Cottage Memorial Museum is truly an amazing experience!

You can find this packed to the rafters museum at 35 Gladstone St Glenrowan Victoria...

I will start with a big thank you to the owners of this wonderful establishment (Doug & Michelle)🙏 for the respect they had shown us and for taking on the challenge to preserve Australia's historical bushranger Edward Kelly and the Kelly family story!

If you have the love of knowing about (Edward/Ned Kelly's) life in the mid to late 1800s, which was very short life of Ned's along with the Kelly family history, this is truly the place to start!

The Kelly Memorial Museum is packed with some true historical information about the Kelly family along with the police that were involved and more!

There is a great replica of the original Kate Kelly ramshackle hut (Neds sister), and while you are there, say hello to Howard and Dorothy, Howard is likely older than most people who read my post!
(If only he could talk!)

Along with great merchandise to buy, there is something to cater to every budget from the Kelly museum, which your money will help with the upkeep of the historic Kelly family story!

I am a pensioner with limited income, and I was very pleased to see the pricing of their merchandise as it allowed me to come home with a bag of goodies next time it will be a truck load! I've seen cards, soap & T Shirt cost more at woollies (Woolworths)

Doug and Michelle, they will put you on the path (map) to the storyline around the town of Glenrowan that makes your life easier for you to enjoy the historic story of Ned's along with the scenic views of this beautiful little town!

We were lucky enough to get the chance to meet and listen to Lazy Harry sing the old Bush Ballads.

Take a big SD memory card, I had taken 433 photos alone between the Museum & the Ned Kelly storyline!

Doug and Michelle, again, we thank you for your time!

Honestly excellent.
Small home made museum that lays out the history of the Kelly gang really well.
It’s filled with relics from the time, and some key artefacts from history.
They have even rebuild the Kelly homestead out the back.

$12 for an adult is well worth it.
They were also so friendly, and so passionate.

To top it off, they give you a map of the town with all the key places to visit and will chat about recommended places to visit.

slim woah!

Big monument of the bushranger Ned Kelly. Plenty of things to get photos I front of. Heaps of parking and just off the main motorway.
A few cafes and places to grab a drink and some food.
Worth a look if you're going past. Won't hold you up very long at all.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! I really look forward to returning, you could never have enough time to spot all the amazing treasures in the collection here. If you are into Victorian/19th century culture, history and vintage items, you will be so pleased to look at all the amazing things on display here. This is only a few minutes off the Hume so well worth stopping off even if you are just passing through.

As far as covering Victorian and convict history, wow, This place has you covered, even if you’re not that into the Ned Kelly story, you would find so many things of interest here. They have so many authentic items that actually belonged to the Kelly family (and Ned Kelly’s mums family the Quinn’s), as well as just a stunning collection of 19th century items from the surrounding areas. The replica home of the Kelly homestead is incredibly authentic, it actually feels so real, set out with precise attention to detail, containing so many authentic Kelly furniture items and decor pieces including a fence built by Ned’s brother. The Owners here were absolutely lovely, very accomodating and I am grateful for their kindness thankyou again. Once you walk in, laidback and friendly vibes all round, atmospheric music, fantastic array of gifts available at very reasonable prices. I visited with my son and my son just fell in love with the resident cat who is just so friendly, that made our trip!

If you want to know what really happened to Ned Kelly, his family and mates don't go past this shop. A fascinating dog friendly museum, replica home out at the rear of the property, 2 very old and cheeky sulphur crested cockatoos and a blacksmith (in winter time) Simply amazing details of life in the Ned Kelly era. Owners are wonderful people with a passion for sharing their knowledge. Also a little toy animal hunt for the kids. Shop is full of terrific souvenirs.
