McDonald's

McDonald isn’t very good when it’s at its best. This one was closed when I got there. It gave me the opportunity to buy a servo pie. The pie wasn’t that great but it made me feel relieved that I didn’t have to eat McDonald’s after driving all day. So I award it 5 stars. It was genuinely the best food, service and atmosphere I’ve ever encountered at McDonalds. It should be closed more often.

We literally just left the store. Hats off to the small but awesome crew working today at 5:58pm Sat 27 Jan 2024. Efficient and methodical. The store was mad busy but you were like Iron Maiden - Absolute TROOPERS

Unlike the previous reviews, the place looks clean. Toilet is maintained neat. Nice coffee for a long drive.

Friendly staff and great service. This is the first time Ive visited this place on our way from Canberra to Melbourne. The staff at the counter super friendly and efficient.

Ordering at the auto kiosk was a breeze but no printer paper..got myorder OK.. well done guys.

Fast food and coffee on the Hume Highway - works for the traveller seeking a quick caffeine fix.

This place was getting absolutely slammed by the Sunday night post snow rush, like hundreds of orders coming through and everyone working full speed full effort and I have to say the work culture was absolutely admirable. The manager on shift (6:50pm on 21 Aug) was pepping everyone up, telling them they were doing a great job. The communication was all positive and they were checking every order for accuracy and the employees were working hard but they didn't seem extremely stressed and they weren't making mistakes and as a past hospitality employee I can't tell you how much I value this kind of work environment. Unreal 😍

Too slow half hour wait for 2 hot drinks

Best experience I've had at a McDonald's. Despite it being really busy with over 13 people waiting, we were all looked after really well. Everyone was greeted by Chrissie, who especially was amazing. She made sure to tell people she would be with them in a minute. Asked if we wanted pickles or not. She was really on on roll. Rest of the staff were lovely as well. Food came quickly and was awesome! No complaints at all. But seriously Chrissie was really amazing. Very rare to get service like that, especially from a McDonald's.

Visited there on Monday 24 October - around 10am. The nicest person on drive through I have ever encountered at any drive through for ANYplace, and a cheerful happy person delivered the food to the car (few minutes delay). Truelly nice experiance - and I don't usually do reveiews for drive through places - but this was worth the mention for excentially happy and nice people.

The two ladies making coffees on Thursday morning December 22nd were excellent. The place was packed and they were getting smashed, apologising to people for the long wait. They looked exhausted. I hope they had a nice Christmas ☕

If McDonalds Restaurants are anything, they sure are consistent! Again, even after an extraordinarily long drive through queue, the service was quick, friendly and most importantly, it was also correct. The team at this McDonald's really showed a great team effort to get a seemingly impossible number of cars and diners through the drive through window and indoor servery without fuss or exasperation! Great work guys! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good Service. Ambience and stuff

Coming from Newcastle NSW and fleeing a pandemic it appeared at the drive thru we were not the only ones.
It was a drive in, have a long wait and then drive off again with 20 to 30 minutes lost on a 12 hour car trip at this drive through alone and obvious incompetence and junior staff running a place this big is a recipe for failure and poor food with atrocious service.
The waiting bays were not in use at all during our experience.
You would think it would then be fresh when it's passed out the window but alas no, not the case.
The car in front waited about ten minutes at the final window for their order.
I assumed it was a big order.
After ten minutes at the last window the car in front was finally passed 2 coffees.
I drove up to the last window and was passed my bag of 2 big Mac meals instantly.
The temperature of the contents of the bag assured me that my order was put in that bag 20 to 30 minutes prior and continued to degrade whilst incompetence and poor management at the alleged "drive thru".
To let a hot meal go even more cold for the sake of some lazy personal not using the wait bay for 2 coffees is ludicrous.
I will not stop or fuel up at any store at this service centre ever again on the highway.
There are plenty more less crowded further down the road and better organised.
Plan your trip so you do not have to stop at this service centre.

This would have to be the best Mc Donald's restaurant I've ever been to. Staff are friendly and helpful. Fries 🍟 filled just as advertised on menu and burgers 🍔 intact (meaning they didn't look like they'd sped through time and stopped suddenly in the wrapper) Thanks again we will return 😁
