Bukhara Indian Cuisine

We were a group of 8 friends. Booked this venue on recommendation. Very very happy about the food and service as well as value for money 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷💥💥💥💥💥 they should make more space by cutting down 10% of the sitting and may be charge 10% more on their most popular dishes.

I must say, this is the first Indian restaurant in Melbourne where we experienced the fastest service and courteous smiling staff with a great sense of hospitality. When we visited the restaurant, it was running with a "full sitting" capacity, but we experienced

1. Service: Top notch. The time from the order to food on the table was 5 minutes max. It's quite unbelievable to see such speed in any Indian restaurant as Indian food making is extensive.
2. Amazing Staff: Courteous and smiling. Always scanning through the tables whether anyone needs any help. They were able to understand eye contact, which is the basics of hospitality 101. Generally found in fine dining restaurants, but it seems they are well trained with such basics. Commendable.
3. Authentic food: When an Indian restaurant anywhere abroad serves the food with such high speed, there ought to be chances that food quality will miss the mark. Whereas, whatever we order was authentic, fresh fulfilling Indian taste. 4. Authenticity: Kept authenticity of Indian food. Seen and eaten in many successful Pakistani, South Asian, French, Chinese, Italian, African & Aussie restaurants, obervation was that the people crave for authenticity. I always wondered why Indian food tries to stay away from authenticity. But this restaurant kept it authentic. Spread the authentic taste of Indian food guys, unapologetically.

Ps: We had some issues with drinks, but it was sorted out courteously. Can understand such a mix-up when the restaurant runs high capacity with limited staff on the bar.

Absolutely delicious Indian restaurant. The interior and vibe is that of fine dining. The food was amazing. Chicken 65 biryani was amazing, super deep spicy flavours and the chicken was smoky and delicious. Paired with the yoghurt, absolutely aromatic. The curries were all also very good, lamb madras was our favourite. The garlic naan was also soooo good, definitely get it if you like naan.

Ordered vegetarian catering from Bukhara for 25 people including a Jain diet order. Delicious food as always! Quantity was also just perfect. Order came with warmers and other utensils. Price was reasonable too! Very satisfied with their service and food!
The manager was flexible and accomodating to our needs as well as the manager decided the food menu for us.

Good Food, Disciplined staff and great Ambience. However,Mocktails were bad. Bartender really needs a change over.

I am a big fan of Bhukara food. This place is mostly busy and getting a seat without appointment is not easy. The taste of food is different to most of the other Indian cuisine I have tried. Yes a little spicy however possibly that’s what makes this place special. The big boss is always smiling and personally shows attention to customers, which shows that they are serious with customers service. Clean and tidy which is must in every restaurant. Good job and as always we will be there again soon.

We recently had our 2nd delightful dining experience at Bukhara Indian Restaurant. The food again was incredibly delicious, and the service impeccable. They’re rich Indian authentic flavour and aromatic spices specifically chosen for every dish took us back to try other dishes. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Lollypop, Amritsari Fish, sunehri khasta for starters Goan Fish, Murg Labandaar, Tawa Chicken Shashlik for mains all are culinary masterpiece. Do not forget to end with paan and or mango kulfi. The staff's attentiveness and warm hospitality added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. I can't wait to return for another scrumptious meal at Bukhara!

Good food and excellent service! We loved the masala papdi chaat, schezwuan noodles, chicken lollipop and daal bhukhara. The soya chaap was a bit underwhelming though. The chilli lichee cocktail was excellent! Service was really quick and the staff were incredibly helpful. Definitely would dine here again!

Vegetarian review: very impressed by the quality of food, personal care by the manager and the ambience. Mushroom takatak and daal were my absolute favourites. The paneer was soft in the paneer dish. The serving sizes are perfect for a family of 4 and if you like your food spicy, they can do it for you. I am definitely going there again.

What a delight! One of the best fine dining Indian restaurant in Melbourne. We had a beautiful dinner on a very busy Saturday and we were overjoyed with food, ambience and services by entire staff at Bukhara.
Main standout from their menu is dedicated section for people with dietary requirements like no onion and garlic menu which we have not seen in most restaurant.
Overall menu is extensive to cater all types of tastebuds with some unique items you will not find anywhere. Taste is very authentic and customised to suit your needs too.

Nicest Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Great food! If you like your spice levels 8/10 then ask for a 5/10. Loved the pan Ice cream at the end to cool down.

Great food and excellent service. Dining at Bukhara restaurant has always been a delight. The staff is friendly and their food is amazing. We recently tried their catering service and everyone at the party loved their food and arrangements. The manager Mandeep and owner Shiv are so polite. They helped us pick out the perfect menu for the day and also catered to our specific tastes. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

It was an amazing experience at this restaurant it was clean and good service, The best part of it was the quality of the food everything was fantastic .The prices were decent according to the atmosphere and service.
