Dongara Bakery

The Dongara Bakery has to be one of the best bakeries in Western Australia. Highly recommend stopping off here for a pie or sausage roll if you are on your way through Geraldton. Everything here is excellent!

Lovely spot for dropping in to get a quick bite to eat. Heaps of choice and everything looked fresh and tasty. We recommend the pies and can confirm the banana bread is absolutely delicious!

I was passing through town on business. Stopped for a quick bite and a coffee. I was also able to catch up on some computer work at the tables inside the shop. Cool and out of the sun

Nice little bakery with efficient and friendly service. We stopped on our way back to Perth for a butter chicken pie and coffee chill. There are a few tables to sit inside, or you could sit in a nearby park as there are a few around. Don't forget to take a pic of the giant lobster while you're in town, it's pretty impressive (better than the giant banana in Carnarvon, and on par with the giant prawn in Exmouth).

Also picked up some WA raw honey while I was here at a very reasonable price.

Fantastic salad rolls and butter chicken pie, we also purchased a wholemeal loaf and a raspberry pull apart which were also good. Busy little bakery with friendly staff.

Love their pies and wraps. Great place to get a yummy lunch or cakes.

Great bakery. Excellent assortment of pies and cakes. The Apple slice was the best I've had and wish I'd bought a few more.
Pies were lovely and fresh. Picked some scones up for mum and she loved them.
They even sell prawn crackers there. Fresh rolls, bread. What a bakery should be. Will definitely be stopping there on our next trip at least twice. Bravo to the staff who run it.

Great pies and fresh Vietnamese pork rolls. The lettuce was fresh and cool on a roasting day. Great place to atop for lunch in the Mid-West of WA. Worth pulling into town when travelling North.

Great selection of savories and sweets. Good prices and friendly staff. Bit tricky finding a park with so many people there and at the markets but worth a walk if you can't park near by.

Service is great food is even better. Apple slice yummy even specially wrapped to transport back to Perth.

We make a point to always stop a Dongara Bakery, on our way north. Beautiful 🥧 pies and ☕ coffee. Plus a very big selection of other delicious offerings.

Terrible obviously the current owners learnt nothing from the previous owners. This used to be a don't miss place, now it's a don't bother.... Donuts yuk and ice coffee less than average. Couldn't even get a chocolate milkshake. Disappointed 😞 to say the least.

The Danish, and chocolate croissant are two of my favourite and this bakery nailed both. Best Danish I have ever had 🥰 , and healthy vietnamese rice paper rolls win every department with friendly staff and great customer service.
