Dorevitch Pathology

Excellent experience! Just had a blood test done here, didn't catch the name of the nurse. Came in on a Friday about 45mins before closing, was seen in about 15. The nurse was brilliant, explained everything necessary and was very accommodating. Blood draw done in under a minute. Pretty painless. Thank you so much!!

The pathologists are very friendly and professional. Appraising from the point of view as an examiner for tertiary healthcare education, their healthcare services are excellently structured. They are empathetic, efficient and very attentive to details. It’s worth noting how valuable it is to maintain this consistency for an extended working hours throughout the day. For all the negative comments I’ve seen here, I understand it is frustrating to wait and how this could be extra challenging if you’re feeling unwell. However, I hope you can agree to my ideology to some level that it is more beneficial for both the healthcare professionals and us patients to promote a healthcare space that is encouraging, friendly and understanding to both ends.

The lab lady Daljeet is amazing, I can tell she is a very experienced one in doing her job. She is friendly, kind, gentle and good at what she’s doing. I would recommend everyone to go there if you want an easy and painless blood test. Especially for people who’s afraid of needle but need to do the test should go there 😊

No problems what so ever. Was quick, painless and easy. I need regular bloods done and I can’t rate this place down like some others. Most pathology services outside hospitals don’t have direct lines, and they are just walk in, grab a number and wait. This is no different, and I was seen within a few minutes.

The workers at docklands pathology were so nice and kind. The lab girl Selma was very nice to chat with and could tell that she was very experienced in her job. Would recommend visiting if needing blood taken.

The pathologist in this center Daljeet, is AMAZING, very experienced, calm and confident. It's like she has a magical touch, I don't even feel pain when I get bloods done with her.
I have deep veins which are not easy to deal with but Daljeet makes giving blood a pain free experience for me.
So glad that I found Daljeet and this Pathology, don't think I will ever go to any other place.

Went to the front of Victoria Harbour Medical Centre, called the reception to be allowed in to go to Dorevitch Pathology. Grabbed a number, I was seen in 15 minutes. I vomited and the lady was really nice & helpful. Only one needle needed.

Customer care and experience was great. Nice and friendly staff.

Had some issues finding the place as the google map pointer is misleading.

Its actually located on Merchant Street inside Victoria Harbour Medical Centre.

Reasonably fast and expertly painless.

However like other reviewers said it's ridiculously hard to find. There's absolutely no mention of it outside the medical centre and even once in the medical centre it's hard to spot. The medical centre even lists their services but no mention of pathology. Also I tried ringing several times but there's no answer and the message bank has no message, just a beep. I almost marked it as permanently closed.

Despite the poor reviews, i decided to take a chance and went to the centre for my blood test. The service is fast and pleasant. The pathology is inside the Victoria Harbour Medical Centre - opposite Woolworths. Walk inside into the medical centre and you will see the sign for Dorevitch. Take a number (hanging outside their door), and ring the bell.

Service is fine and seamless
But workers of this company must not be allowed to wear badges and flags of other countries. I am not interested in or wanting to be made aware of her personal bias and it is discomforting to clients who do not share her views.

Waited 40 mins to be told their email isn’t working so they can’t receive my pathology form and to come back another time or go somewhere else. The lady was nice though.

Hello. I'm a person who occasionally works at this site. I will simply describe my typical workday. At Thursday, 16 February, I started at 8am. There were already 6 people waiting. At first hour I had two patients who lost consciousness while needle was in their vein, they rolled eyes, was shaking and tend to slide on floor. I have no one to help and have to deal with it myself. It takes time. Another patient requires ECG in addition to blood drawing. It takes time. And so on... I was working from 8am to 1.20pm without ANY brake, no toilet, no coffee. Then I had 40min lunch and continued to work until 4pm. I served 25 patients. In return, I received complaints from managers and a bad google review.
