Marymede Catholic College

Marymede in my experience with schools is a wonderful school, in all areas....

Each individual child is cared for in the same way, children are not pushed aside, if there have problems, they are cared for and loved.

I know many children who have came out of year 12 from this school and they exel In life.. the added bonus of Marymede is the presence of God, that dwells there.

As the scripture says when 2 or 3 gather in my name then I will be inthe midst.

I have been a student at Marymede for over 8 years. It's one of the best schools in Victoria the education system is outstanding. I have loved the time from over the years, sometimes the Excursions can get boring, but it's time away from being from school and hanging out with your friends it may be boring but in those situations you get tested and to show your creativity with your friends and your peers. This school has so much things the Science building is nice and so is the Drama building I am excited to see what building they are building now and I can't wait to see what they build next. You can send your child there amazing school and heaps of sporting academies and support for your child to be the best.

Marymede is actually a great school. During my 7 years here I have always been satisfied with the school, staff and other students there. If you send your child there don’t worry I can guarantee they will be fine. The school is welcoming and caring and it is very easy to make friends there. Marymede offers a wide range of education from core subjects like maths and English to food tech and wood tech.

I am a bit shocked in reading the reasons for giving Marymede a bad review. So much generalization and also from people who even ever walked its campus. This school has been offering a caring and friendly environment. I appreciate how teachers can focus on the curriculum while also maintaining respect of the rules (i.e. uniforms, punctuality, values). I was trained in tough schools so I think students could be pushed more in the sense that the Vic curriculum should be generally more challenging. But that's another matter!

I have 2 daughters at the school and we’re very happy overall. Facilities are always expanding and improving and they are striving to improve year on year. Youngest just finished ELC and couldn’t recommend them high enough. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this school don’t know why there are so many poor reviews, probably people with an axe to grind. Edit: have read more of the reviews seems most are former students having a whinge

it was brilliant teachers so nice. Some may be strict but only want best for u love it. They treat every race and skin colour same. I recommend it so much love it!!!!

A supportive and proactive college. It's great to have the continuity of Early Learning through to VCE in one campus for kids!
