Smiths Gully Cafe

My cousin took me here for a quick bite to eat and I had no idea it was here to start with. The food is well presented and tasty and coffees is tops! We enjoyed the outside eating area, albeit small, it is pleasant. The staff are very friendly and brings this family vibe across. Really cool. Definitely a must go.

What a beautiful cafe! It's not obviously a cafe from the outside but inside it's gorgeous, with cozy retro decor and plenty of seating for families (it's kid friendly) or small groups. They have internet so it's also perfect for singles or couples passing through with a laptop or tablet. The staff are complete sweethearts, the coffee is great and I hear the food is super yummy too. Not far from St. Andrew's market!

Lovely and tasty afternoon coffee. Caramel slice one of the best I have ever had. Pies are large and tasty looking, must try them out for lunch.

Amazing place to stay, dine in or even take out ! Food’s really good, milkshakes have an amazing flavor, sandwiches are fabulous

Their toastys are some of the best I've ever tasted. A nice quiet area to get a great feed and relax. Hiking/bike trails near by also.

Great stop on the way up to St Andrews. Really nice setting indoors. Bit of a wait for the steak sanga but well worth it- the thing is a monster!

A huge favourite on my training bike rides. A good selection of tasty home made options. Perfectly located as a quick or relaxing stop.

When you pull up out the front and struggle to find a car park you know the place must be good....and it is.

The homemade pies are in a word sensational and guess what, so are the muffins.

If you’re in the area and want a great feed or a coffee and a cake drop in.

You won’t regret it and if the sun’s out, sit outside and soak up the serenity.

Place looks a bit run down. A little bit of a wait for the food but completely worth it considering the amount you get. The burger and blue heaven were amazing. Pricing is very fair for the amount of burger you get and the quality of the food. Bike stands and water bottle refills are provided. Staff were good. Definitely worth the stop if your passing by on bike or car.

The best burger I have EVER had. Gully burger - double beef patties with everything (bacon, cheese , egg etc) individually prepared with crisp lettuce etc. Takes a bit longer but definitely worth the wait. In fact I'd drive the hour from Melbourne to have this again. Outstanding.

Only one staff member on duty last Tuesday 20th September and she was absolutely fantastic and catered for our large group - we sat out in the morning sun and the coffees were amazing, the poached eggs were perfectly cooked. Can't thank you enough for a wonderful breakfast! Next time we will call ahead ;)

Oh mate this place is ace! Home made food. Ben is lovely. The shop crew are spectacular. Definitely worth stopping for coffee and a bite to eat no matter if your driving, cycling or the motorbike

Nice little cafe in Smith’s Gully which has a nice little arrange of cakes and meals. They also make coffees and have an indoor and outdoor sitting area.

Just up the road from St Andrews.

Highly recommended, we got a massive bag of rye bread for really cheap as well.

Fabulous local cafe /bakery! New owners and what a brilliant move!!! Absolutely love their sausage rolls ❤ seriously good! Great soy mocha too ❤👏👏👏👏
