Locksley Park

My partner and I had the most wonderful
weekend away at Locksley Park! It was the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD. There was firewood available, however, the process of collecting our own on the many acres of the property was a part of the wonderful experience. We absolutely loved enjoying our Heathcote Shiraz bought from a local winery on the front porch listening to nothing but the beautiful native birds. The bath in front of the double-sided fireplace was perfect. Some very cute and thoughtful touches made for a great stay. We would definitely recommend and return!

A few friends and I went away to Locksley Park for a few nights and I couldn't express how impressed we were with everything. The house had all needs amenities including and especially a lot of toilet paper which has recently been an issue when staying away (places had no toilet paper). Rooms were super clean and comfortable. 100% will be back!

Now to my favourite part, if you are looking to stay somewhere super peaceful and beautiful, Locksley Park is the best. So much space to explore and grounds to walk. It was great to say hello to the horses and goats each day. I really felt connected to the place and I couldn't thank the owners enough for keeping this place perfect. Thank you again!

Locksley Park provided us a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The owner, Rob, is very friendly and accomodating. The house itself is very clean and tidy — we especially enjoyed the bathtub in the lounge room! We would recommend this place to anyone considering it.

Awesome Spot!

Arrived at Locksley Park and attempted to light a fire (as it's the only source of heating in the house and temperatures were dipping into negatives overnight). No luck as the firewood provided was wet. After messaging the host he told us it's BYO firewood and to buy some from a service station (without stating it in the listing it's similar to having a bathtub and expecting guests to BYO water). He's since added it to the listing at my request so future guests aren't disappointed. The sheets on one of the beds were dirty which brought into question the cleanliness of the entire house. Super surprised with my experience given all the great reviews of this place. Tooborac is a beautiful part of Victoria so I would suggest staying somewhere else if you want to enjoy what the area has to offer for more than a few hours.
