The Acres of Tooborac

Absolutely stunning location. The cottage and homestead are located in a beautiful part of Victoria, surrounded by giant boulders and eucalyptus trees. It was the first venue we visited for our wedding and we knew it was the one.
Although we envisaged an outdoor wedding on the big boulder, the weather gods didn't like those plans and we had torrential rain, but it was so easy to transition the ceremony indoors.
Brad, the new manager was so fantastic to work with and very accommodating.
The new renovations are beautiful. Beautiful furniture and art and thoughtful pieces throughout the two buildings.
There were so many little nooks throughout the property, it felt like we had 5 different locations in one, which was fantastic for photos.
Finally, the acres has a sustainability focus, which was really important to us. They have sustainable waste management and a range of wedding bits and pieces to use to reduce buying new!
Can't imagine getting married anywhere else!

We are so glad that we found the Acres to be our wedding venue. The homestead, grounds and venue itself were all beautiful, even with all of the rain. Being able to have our wedding party stay onsite was so nice and really added to the vibe of our weekend. There lots of gardens and scenic spots to explore- we held our tea ceremony in one garden and until the rain, were going to hold our ceremony by the 'wedding rock'. Even with the rain, we were easily able to shift our ceremony inside with the big window overlooking the 'rock' providing the perfect backdrop.
Brad and Jacob were great. They were always friendly and helpful, even filling in as our bar staff when the original staff became unavailable. They were easy to communicate and were very accommodating .

This venue is beautiful, inside and out. We had the most amazing weekend here for our wedding and Jacob and Brad were so helpful. This venue is so versatile, we really were able to setup the venue as we liked and there was plenty of space for dancing!

‘The acres’ is such a unique property, which is why we fell in love with it. It truly has the whole package with accomodation, ceremony and reception options all onsite in close proximity.
The property is full of divine scenery with the rolling hills and rocks which are just stunning and unique to the area. You can’t go wrong with that view!
Brad and Jacob were a dream to work with. They were so accomodating of our needs and the vision we had for our day. We loved that we could tailor the details and vendors to what we wanted, which is not an option at most venues. Highly recommend, you won’t regret it!

We had the pleasure of being hired for our mobile bar/ coffee at a fabulous wedding being held at this stunning venue. Sue, the owner couldn't do enough and she made sure we had everything we needed, the owners are clearly passionate and care about their customers/ vendors. The venue is just wonderful with the most stunning views. Thank you for having us and we can't wait to get back to Mimosa Glen soon. Joe

Mimosa Glen is simply stunning. The location, the feel, the architecture. It’s rustic and private, with rolling hills and giant boulders, cows and birds. The accommodation on site is immaculate and lovingly restored. The cherry on top is the mission to be as sustainable as possible. If there was ever going to be a place that made compost sexy, Mimosa Glen did it! In all seriousness, this is combination is an amazing achievement and something we should all be aspiring too. I know I will going back again (and again, and again)...

We had our Wedding at Mimosa Glen in September and I could not have been happier with the location itself, the Woolshed we used for the sit down dinner and the Homestead which the bridal party used for the entire weekend. Sue is lovely and very accommodating and we had the most special wedding day here. Would not hesitate to recommend as a wedding venue. The Homestead and Cottage there are also great for a weekend getaway! What a beautiful part of the world.

Scenery was beautiful, accommodation was great. Sue was Lovley and we arrived to breakfast supplies and essentials. We had a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back and would recommend this to anyone.

It was a beautiful birthday celebration with friends, and family, last week 7th - 9th May 2021 in the country. So in love with this place, and we had our wedding there 4years ago, and we fell in love with the place then, and now it's our getaway for family, and just to relaxed. Our families love the quiet, peaceful surroundings, our grandchildren loves the outdoor, and they don't even asks for ipads or technology.
Sue is so wonderful, and kept the place beautiful. We love this place, and thankful we found this place 6 years ago while were passing by on our way to Echuca.
