Far Side Beers

Fantastic, knowledgeable staff serving up some of the best craft beer money can buy. These guys have an amazing selection of local and imported brews, with six unique and palatable taps serving up 'bigs' and 'smalls'. There's a great outdoor area for when the sun comes out, but if Melbourne is putting on the habitual cloud cover the 'bottleshop' and bar areas are great for a get together. By far the best bar operating out of the leafy greens.

This is a gem. Passionate staff, relaxed vibe with cool tunes and amazing selection of beers.

The beers are all priced at bottle shop rates even when you sit in! I have never enjoyed so many craft beers at a venue with a $20 note.

Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. This craft beer bar is a great destination for takeaways or sampling the options on tap. This place gets a big tick for their tap range, favoring more adventurous beers than most other bars around the area. They also frequently have events on which showcase specific breweries and specialty beers. Dont think there has been one occasion I have been in here and disappointed about the tap options

Absolutely love this place! Super relaxed atmosphere - staff are great; wine and beer on offer are always really good.

Great local bar/bottle shop run by two super friendly guys. Always got delicious beers on tap, which change around from time to time. Also a bunch of options for the non beer drinkers. Great vibe. Also added bonus you can order food from uber eats or the like, to eat in at the bar and they’ll provide you with cutlery etc.

Bought some takeaways from their excellent selection craft beer in the bottleshop. Staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to returning to drink at the bar.

Great place. .run by two enigmatic entrepreneurs, who have created a home from home in a lovely Melbourn suburban bar..They also know their stuff....great selection of craft beers, interesting spirits and inventive cocktails.
I would highly recommend.

The guys are great. Come in and check out the interesting range of taps and bottle shop options. Local and international. Jules and Oli are a delight: always willing to talk informatively about their stock (if not a special crowded party day). A few snack options but the guys are happy to let you Uber Eats.

Amazing selection of craft beers, but I popped in for a bottle of imported UK liquor Lanique. They were out of stock but the legends sourced a bottle from the locally based distributor and I left ten mins later, bottle in hand...how’s that for service! Stop in, you won’t regret it!

Guy at the bar really knew about all the beers on tap and recommended alternatives from the bottle room when they didn't have the preference from the tap. The recommended beers were all really good.

Craft beer enthusiast bar. Good for quiet pre drinks or a Sunday session. Very knowledgeable staff who can tell you all about their bottled and tap beers.

Fantastic beer selection, very friendly and helpful staff, great patio out the back, and consistent good times. I honestly can't recommend Far Side enough! Just go!
