I have been seeing this clinic for years and I can say that I am happy with the service provided. Clean and hygienic. There is a couple bottles of hand sanitizer at reception that you can use when you arrive/ leave. Masks available upon request if you don't bring your own.

Overall, happy and kind receptionists with great quality of healthcare from general practitioners provided. I would definitely recommend this if you plan on switching to a new General practitioner.

Always a pleasure to see doctor Helen, she is very kind, calm and very professional.
Great doctor and even though I live far I’m happy to travel and feel safer seeing her than a different GP. I highly recommend this clinic.

Dr. Arthur, best doctor I've seen since I was a kid. Highly recommend.

I like how kind Helen is with her patients and how she treats her patients with respect and dignity especially when It comes to mental health. Arthur is very similar to his wife. The only criticism I can give is perhaps their punctuality

Just need to remove he graffiti from their sign which has been there for over a year and looks terrible, other than that all good.

I took my kids there to get vaccinated a couple of months ago. The clinic was open for 1 hr before we got there and we weren't seen for 50 minutes after the appointment time. There seemed to be only one doctor on duty. The building and interior is pretty shabby. We saw Dr Arthur and he was friendly and fine with respect to giving the vaccination - but I guess that's pretty straightforward. There was no charge for the vaccination, unlike what other experienced who reviewed this place.

Dr Helen is pleasant, compassionate and punctual. Dr Arthur is rude, dismissive and consistently late.
Do not waste your time with Dr Arthur.

Do not see Dr Arthur Bablis!

Arrogant and can’t be told! If you or your loved one have a sporting injury, this is NOT your doctor.

Presented 2 sons with sore backs. I requested X rays and MRIs. Was laughed at, and he scoffed “if they had a broken spine they wouldn’t be able to walk”. Proceeded to write ONE son a referral for and X-ray and then said the other son just has a sprained muscle.

I trusted my mother’s instinct and consulted a physio, who wrote to Arthur requesting an X-ray for the other son as well as MRIs for both sons.

Well the results came in, and what do you know…. BOTH kids have a stress fracture in their spine from increased sport load recently. And what do you know, this is such a common injury for kids that do a large amount of sport. And if they gone undiagnosed, they may have risked a slipped vertebrae and had lifelong spinal issues. Thankful I didn’t listen to Arthur and trusted my gut!

I went back for results and to get a referral to my sports specialist and he refused! Said I don’t need a referral to see a sports specialist. So I called another GP at medical one Greensborough and got a written referral and a bloodwork referral all in under 5 minutes on a Telehealth appointment.

Safe to say I will never return to Arthur. He is a hack that is so far out of touch. And does it all with an air of arrogance. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

During my recent visit to Glen Katherine Medical Clinic, I was appalled by the level of incompetence and negligence displayed by the general practitioners (GPs). Not only did they exhibit a complete lack of interest in understanding my symptoms, but they also failed to make any effort in providing me with assistance regarding the billing and financial aspects of my medical situation. Their refusal to ask pertinent questions, offer advice, or conduct any research to alleviate my predicament only further emphasized their disregard for patient well-being and their professional responsibilities.

One of the most shocking aspects of my visit was the complete absence of inquiry regarding my symptoms. Instead of taking the time to listen and ask probing questions to gain a comprehensive understanding of my condition, the GPs seemed disinterested and disengaged. They appeared more focused on finishing the appointment swiftly rather than providing the necessary care and attention to their patients. As a result, my concerns were dismissed without consideration, leaving me feeling overlooked and helpless. My appointment lasted literally 4 minutes.

Furthermore, the lack of effort on the part of the GPs in addressing the billing and financial aspects of my medical predicament was deeply concerning. Despite clearly expressing my concerns and requesting assistance, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of support. The GPs showed no initiative in researching potential solutions or providing guidance to alleviate the burden of my financial obligations. Their inability or unwillingness to take even the most basic steps to help me left me feeling abandoned and vulnerable during a time when I needed their expertise and support the most.

In addition to the absence of inquiry and support, the GPs at Glen Katherine Medical Clinic demonstrated a severe lack of professionalism and commitment to patient care. It is the responsibility of medical professionals to ask relevant questions, offer guidance, and conduct research to ensure their patients receive comprehensive and holistic care. Unfortunately, the GPs at this clinic failed to fulfill these basic obligations, contributing to a distressing experience that left me feeling unheard and unsupported.

In conclusion, Glen Katherine Medical Clinic's GP displayed an alarming lack of inquiry and support toward patients, particularly concerning symptoms and financial concerns. Their refusal to ask questions, provide advice, or conduct research highlights a gross disregard for patient well-being and a blatant neglect of their professional duties. I strongly caution against seeking medical care at this clinic, as their evident incompetence and lack of effort only serve to exacerbate patients' physical, emotional, and financial distress. It is imperative to find healthcare professionals who prioritize patient-centered care and demonstrate a genuine commitment to the well-being of those they serve.

SLOW service and by the time you get to see Dr Bablis, there's just an arrogance about him that you can't wait to leave. Receptionist is unorganised and doesn't seem to be across their systems. To top it off, I wanted to discuss two items with the doctor, but he told me that I needed to book a separate appointment with him so that he could put the second item through with medicare - basically so he would get paid twice, and I would have to pay twice. My second item was, putting together an action plan/referral to take to a physio, that would've taken him all of 10 extra mins and he could've used a template he already had. AN EXPERT AT MILKING THE SYSTEM! The older members in the community would be easy prey for him. Would not recommend this practice to anyone in Banyule/Nillumbik.

Made an appointment to see the lady Doctor was asked by the Receptionist what was the appointment regarding as Medical Receptionist my self I found that astonishing to ask a patient that. At the last moment needed to cancel appointment and was advised that I would be charged a 50.00 dollars cancellation fee. Unprofessional clinic .and as for the fee over the top .

Arthur is one of the worst doctors I have ever seen, totally dismissive and utterly incompetent. Adds extra charges at his pleasure. Complete rip off for a rude and incompetent doctor. Avoid at all costs.

Beware of this rouge. Even though this clinic has been chosen by VIC Health as a vaccination provider, if you not a regular patient of this clinic they won’t administer the COVID vaccination unless you have a health consultation, cost $130 (vac is free). Great example of the health system being milked!!

Hopeless. Constant wait.... Never less than 30 minutes..
This morning had the first appointment, Arthur was 30 minutes late to see my wife and child....as he pulled into the driveway in his brand new Merc 4wd... Never again..
Thinks his time is more important than ours.
Disrespectful ....

Trying to force a mother to have her baby covid tested.
"You don't have a choice, he has to be tested"

Then told the mother "You aren't welcome back here"
All for an ear ache.

What a disgusting human!

Clinic lost medication stored in their fridge and then blamed us for their mistake. When challenged they told us we are not welcome back and will transfer our records elsewhere. Very unprofessional and certainly not recommended.
