Mama Lor Restaurant & Bakery - Melbourne

Mama Lor is the best Filipino restaurant in Melbourne. The cuisines are delicious and beautifully presented. I drive more than an hour just to eat dinner in Mama Lor, totally worth it!

I was hoping to have lumpia again since moving to Australia and I was not disappointed! So delicious!!!!! We had the Shanghai lumpia, the spinach apetizer, main dishes were Cebu lechón belly for one, the whole fried Tilapia. The food was fresh and the presentation was outstanding!
Desert was Ube ice cream and the ube Panna cota. The service was great! Great atmosphere!
Will definitely be returning soon!!!

This Filipino restaurant serves up an authentic taste of the Philippines with flavorful dishes. We tried the beef karekare, sinigang na baboy, inihaw na bangus, and sisig. The friendly staff also made a delightful dining experience. A must-visit!

3rd time guests and still impressed. Foods are authentic Filipino, service with a smile. Nice atmosphere. Great experience. Will come back again and will spread to others.

Had a lovely lunch. Beautiful pork hock and yummy vegetables. Will return and try other dishes. Very busy so it was very noisy.

I loved this place. The food was excellent. No one does pork like the filipinos. From the crispy pata to lechon pork belly. We also had the grilled chicken inasal, which was very tasty. And the range of authentic desserts was delicious. I highly recommend.

We’ve been here a few times and everything we’ve ordered is soooo good! The adobong kang kong, garlic rice, pork bbq, liempo, beef pares, lumpia and calamansi juice - all super sarap. The staff is great and the restaurant has a nice ambience. We always grab a few bags of pastries to take home. We live an hour away and it’s still our fave Filo restaurant in Melbourne.

Personally love pinakbet, sisig, and baked products like ube pandesal/cake. Always a good option when craving Filo dishes that I can’t cook at home. Meals are served hot. Serving amount is ample. Staff are nice and attentive in general. Reasonably priced for the quality of food served.

Love the food here, we always come by whenever we’re in the area. Recommend the garlic fried rice, crispy pata and tamarind soup (which is a great palate cleanser to whet your appetite).

As a Vietnamese person who never tried Filipino food before, this was a wonderful experience. It was definitely interesting and different. The food is a little bit more on the sour side but since I already like sour and pork, the dishes we had were yummy to me. I had pork adobo, sizzling pork and another pork dish. They tasted great with the rice. We had some stir fried noodles too. The service was also quick even though the place was quite busy. I would definitely come here again.
