Just what a cycle-tourer needs!!! Riding the BVRT from Yarraman we arrived late (6pm) into this happy little free-camping spot to find plenty of room for tents, a clean public toilet with loop paper, basins with soap and even a large cubicle with a free-shower (hot and cold water, good pressure, hooks for clothes and room to change in easily). It was raining heavily when we arrived and being the only ones here we found refuge in the old station where we could dry clothes and ended up sleeping for the night. We popped over to the pub across the road for a hot meal and a cold drink too. What a perfect set up, thanks Linville & BVRT!!!

A little bit of history here, on the Brisbane Valley Rain Trail. This is just one stop on the trail which has been set up very well. Quite a few cyclists here on the day travelling through to Moore. You can camp just down from these old wagons pictured, which there is quite a bit of room.... at least a dozen caravans parked up. There is also the Linville Hotel right across the road, for a bight to eat. There is a toilet here as well, all in all, a great place for a nights stay.

Free camping. Entry to Rail Trail. Horse yards. Across the road from the hotel and a cafe. Train carriages interesting but very limited and look quite dangerous. Amazing the number if people walking through the rotting carriages.
