Fantastic charcoal chicken. Great value and absolutely delicious.

We usually order a large chicken for about $22 then just add $10 for large chips which feeds our family of four however there’s other deals with salads and other sides.

This place gets really busy and they use an old school ticketing system before you can order so try to beat rush hours.

No seating inside but there’s outdoor plaza seating available.

Went there with a mate so he could get a chicken roll. Wasn't even planning to order anything but a wonderful lady gave me and my mate 2 chicken strips each. He asked for extra sauce and chilli and after a short wait got the greatest roll I've ever helped someone eat. Good bread fresh veggies amazing amount of sauce for $13. Greatest deal ever.

Walked past many times and decided to stop in for a late lunch. Was served by the gorgeous Nicki, who looked after my heavily pregnant Daughter and I. Best chips and gravy I've had in years. Chicken was very good too. Looking forward to trying the lamb which looks divine.

As I walked in the store I had been greeted by a lovely employee of the restaurant. He had greeted me with a beautiful smile on his face that stretched from ear to ear. An average regular day had suddenly turned to sunshine and rainbows. As I was telling him what I had wanted, he took my order he listed attentively with a smile on his face. I had ordered the Portuguese Roll and requested extra chilli and piri piri sauce. As I waited with my mates for my lovely Portuguese Roll to be prepared, another lovely employee had offered us four fresh, crispy and succulent chicken tenders free of charge. A couple of minutes later, my order number was called out, after I had taken the first bite, I had experienced heaven. The Portuguese roll was heavily loaded with their perfectly roasted chicken in a freshly baked roll along with fresh cold vegetables and the kind employee had not forgotten my request of extra sauce and chilli. My average day had turned to sunshine and rainbows, thanks to Chargrill Charlie's Lane Cove.

This is my regular for a delicious and quick takeaway dinner. So many options and tastes like a home-cooked meal! Absolutely amazing service and the owner is a real stand-up guy - he always makes the time to chat and really cares about the customers and this clearly translates to his staff as well. Operates like a family-owned business not a chain. Thanks so much CC Lane Cove from a very satisfied regular customer!

This is not even close to being my local Chookas but it has my favourite salads so I specifically go here for them. Particularly the roast cauliflower salad, it’s amazing!
The service is always amazing, friendly and practical people.
I also currently have COVID and wanted to get my favourite salad which they didn’t have prepared today, but are making it special so my friend can get it to me.
Really wonderful and lovely people, highly recommend

I've nothing to say the food speaks for itself. Hand's down this is the best place to find the perfect roast chicken and Lamb. This should be put on the map of every food traveller who comes to visit Sydney. Cheers 🙂👍

The best quality and salads!

If you had an awful day, if you feel miserable, if you're hungry, come to Chargrill Charlie's at Lane Cove. You'll find comforting food and the friendliest staff. I like their Portugese Chicken, it goes quite well with the huge selection of sides that they offer. They can get very busy during lunch/dinner times so some patience may be needed in getting your order through, but the staff work as quickly as they can and are always so warm and inviting.

chargrill charlie’s lanecove is probably one of my favourite places to go to especially after school with my friends, we love getting chips after school and chargrill charlie’s has the best portion sizes to share or to have for your self😋other fast food places have really small sizes so would would have to multiple sizes to get the same size as a large at chargrill. all their food and salads are really good too, i definitely recommend the schnitzel roll if you want to eat something but don’t know.😃

Amazing food. First time I came here, it was during lunch time and the whole place was absolutely packed. Felt like a New York deli. The food was well worth the wait though. The sauce is especially great. Also, it's really good value as well, which is surprising considering it's Lane Cove. With so many more options to try from, i'll definitely be coming back here.

The food is always fresh and Justin and his team are warm and welcoming. Enjoyed a delicious pumpkin soup tonight, still warm from the pot. A true local gem!

Great Chicken and chips. Friendly and quick service. Relatively good prices for decent size servings. Only minor thing is that the chicken could of been hotter. Highly recommend.

Best Chargrill Charlie's in Sydney! The thai grilled chicken is so delicious and full of flavour and moist. And the salads are always super fresh and tasty. Great customer service. This is not my local CC chicken but I make the drive to get the chicken here.

The most delicious grilled chicken I ever had! Even the chicken schnitzels and Thai foods are very yummy.

Amazing service and food. I am new to the area and did not understand the process of the ticketing system. The shop was extremely busy and I had waited in queue at the register (silly I know). Staff were amazing they noticed and assisted me with the process. Superb service and the chicken, salads and chips were loved by the whole family. Thank you to the young man who was so helpful!!

Great chicken! The business is very community minded too. They give away a $20 gift voucher to our local soccer team each week for the "man of the match", so you have to respect that. I remember during the rugby world cup, they also gave everyone a free family pack worth $40 when Australia won a game. That's right, you had to wear a wallabies jersey to claim this though. Amazing!

Chargrill Charlie's provided dinner for our team of over 160 at the Greenwich Village Games. Lots of compliments from everyone for schnitzel rolls, chicken and salads. On time, really fresh and delicious. thank you.
