Lovely old country hotel. We were staying nearby so called in one evening for a drink and the next night went back for a meal. Very friendly staff and the food was delicious. Great atmosphere.

Dropped in for lunch during our annual BVRT bike ride.
Was a miserable, raining day, but the welcome and service at Linville Hotel, more than made up for that.
Food was scrummy ( good) and selection of beers very impressive, first decent pint of Guinness since setting foot in Australia.
What a gem.
Service was fast and friendly.
I want to go back there. 😀

A fabulous place to stay overnight or to get a brew and some wonderful food. The rooms upstairs are comfortable and the manager’s house can also be hired out. Live music on the weekend adds to the atmosphere and Linville Lager is the best!

We stayed last night at the Linville Hotel as a stop during the rail trail. Great hotel, really clean rooms and the shared bathroom was clean and not a problem. Food and service outstanding- beautiful location and town.

There were so many amazing things about this wonderful hotel, I don’t know quite where to start…
Beautiful, old fashioned hotel in a peaceful and picturesque location, which teems with birdlife. At night you can hear red deer calling to each other across the ridges.
Exceptional customer service from the owners and staff, who were genuinely friendly and helpful, and without exception, seemed to love what they were doing. A special shout out to Cathal & Tracey Diver, and Evan & Tanya Grimward, who went out of their way to ensure my friend Mary-Anne and I had a comfortable and happy stay. They were never too busy to stop and chat, and point out local points of interest. We were especially touched by their follow up concern, when Mary-Anne received word that her daughter had been hospitalized. Thankfully the situation eased.
The twin-share room we had was clean and comfortable and opened out to wrap around verandahs with lovely views. Shared bathroom facilities were clean and well-maintained. An unexpected bonus was a free self service continental breakfast station set up on the verandah. It was well-equipped and generously stocked with a variety of breakfast food and drink.
The bar stocked a good selection of beer, wine and spirits at very reasonable prices. As for the kitchen - it served delicious meals. My crispy skin salmon with capers & cherry tomatoes was divine, and Mary-Anne’s rib fillet was melt-in-the mouth cooked to perfection.
The highlight of the evening, was sitting in the beer garden near a glorious fire pit, listening to fantastic live music and drinking wine as the sun went down. It was a very convivial setting, where other guests mingled and chatted to each other.
Mary-Anne and I will be spreading the word to our family and friends, and will definitely be back for another awesome weekend.

Great food and atmosphere. I had the most delicious bruschetta and husband had just as delicious chicken filo. We had coffee at the Linville store up the road as the hotel doesn’t do coffee.
Nice bike ride from Caloundra.

I hiked up to Linville from Moore via the BVRT in time for lunch. I ordered the rib fillet done rare. I was unsure what the actual cut would be and it turned out to be a scotch fillet. Mine arrived medium rare and while not the rare I ordered, it went down a treat with a couple of Linville Lagers. The staff at both the bar and the food counter were friendly and made us feel at home. Looking forward to visiting again.

Stayed one night while doing BVRT, coming from Yarraman. Perfect destination for cyclists: Generous, secure storage for ebikes; lots of brand new, useful repair and maintenance equipment (I needed the tyre pump), comfortable accommodation and fantastic food. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay again in the future!

The steak sandwich there is amongst the best, if not the best, I've ever eaten.
It's a great stop to recharge after riding on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.

The burgers here are great; I had a cold beer and a beef burger after riding 40km on the BVRT and they were both excellent. The publican and his staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is great, especially on Sunday afternoon when live music is on. If you don't like this pub, then you are very hard to please.
