The team were formerly from the Central market, my family and I have been patronising them since our move to Adelaide in early 2022. The menu has extensive selections. Their food are fresh and we simply love their sashimi specials. Although we tried other Sushi Train outlets, somehow we find our dining experiences at Plympton exceptionally pleasant and enjoyable. The place is well kept and clean, and the owner and the staff are friendly. Definitely worth visiting again and again.

Same operation team of the former Sushi Train next to Central Marker. Moved to Plympton a couple of years. Better set-up and more options of the drink menu. I didn't come here often enough as they are always busy at dinner time. Come again for a date night's dinner with hubby, it proved it is worth waiting. Staff are friendly, all the sushi are so fresh and tasty! Finished our dinner with the chocolate fondant cake is perfect. Will come back more often for sure! 🥰🍘🍤🍣🍮

The menu was extensive and service was excellent, and very friendly. The sushi and rice bowls (aburi salmon bowl and salmon & ikura) were fantastic — extremely fresh and generous. I ordered the salmon & ikura bowl and was really impressed with the quality.

Fresh food and great value! Been there twice and everything we had was good except for the sea urchin which smelt and tasted off. We love sashimi and it has good varieties here with fair price. Online ordering system is a bonus for me which was easy to navigate and use. Service was fast and friendly. We love salmon belly sashimi, scallops and a lot more. Would definitely become one of our regular restaurants

Fresh sushi conveyor belt. Food is rustic and not top notch but definitely a place where price & quality matches. Clean restaurant & friendly staff. Food stays delicious on take away

This is the first time I've been to a sushi train. I loved it. It was easy to get any food you wanted.
I initially looked up the menu, but having plates come past made it more fun to try other dishes.
And staff came around frequently to get us drinks, etc.
I will definitely be coming back.

Nice new Sushi train! We visited for the first time on Friday and we must have just arrived on good timing as we got straight in but 15 minutes later there was a long queue outside. The booth sizes are bigger than at other sushi train’s. Staff are all friendly and prompt.
Very clean and spacious restaurant.
Toilets were clean and easily accessible.
Easy parking. Great location.

I’ve been coming to this Sushi Train ever since it opened , and it’s my favourite . I’d recommend getting here outside the normal sting times if you can though, as it’s incredibly popular!
I love the salmon sashimi and agedashi tofu- most sushi places don’t do the agedashi tofu and it’s one of my favorites. I also occasionally have an umeshu ( plum wine) as it has a sweet taste and goes down well , but still light and refreshing.
My friend had the wagyu beef bowl and it’s her usual pick . She also has a weakness for their egg ship.
The place is always clean and the staff friendly. I’ve gotten to know a few of them and they greet me , so it’s very comfortable for a casual bite to eat .

Dinner at the recently opened @sushitrain_plympton: good selection of dishes and efficient service as per the usual for Sushi Train places 🙂🙂. Good quality food too. It's a good and bad thing that it's so close to where we live 😅😅.

A chain I can vouch for. This establishment has washed away the dissapointment I previously had with another chain in Adelaide. Hard to fault the food as everything was just on point. Enjoyable experience of being able to try different dishes, but would definitely try a midweek or arriving early to ensure no waiting for a table. Whenever in Adelaide, this place is always high on my list of places to eat.

Took the family for our first Sushi train experience and really enjoyed it. Sweet staff, clean atmosphere, tasty sushi and we all got a kick out of seeing the cute robot! For our first time at a sushi train we were not disappointed. Highly recommend.

Wow, what a great fit out..
The best Sushi Train store I’ve been to.

It’s great to see well put together venues with attention to detail.
The staff were fast, friendly, professional and helpful.
The drinks and food menu was plentiful and seemed to be something for everyone.

The amenities were clean and Covid requirements easy and in line with current requirements.

We will definitely be adding this one to our list of places to return to and will keep an eye on the socials for events.

Our tip for dine in is to have them Take your number and then go to the Highway beer garden for a drink while you await your table.

Thanks again and look forward to returning again soon.

We are spoiled for choice with train sushi restaurants these days. However, the original and the best has to be Sushi Train. Especially the one at Plympton. Such wonderful staff and so nice. Food is sublime. Their katsu chicken curry and rice (OMG so good) plus their tempura vegetables are so good. Highly recommend. Only slight issue is that it can get quite busy. Especially at night time. Lunch is no issue, you'll get a table but dinner there's always a wait list but its a testament to how good they are.

We had takeaway and it was yummy. There was a line up of people waiting to eat in. They told us 15mins until ours would be ready and they kept to that. Very happy.

This sushi train is definitely the best sushi train in Adelaide. I've been to every other one and now will only go to this branch. I travel 45 minutes just to come to this particular one. Definitely recommended. 👌
