MOWBRAY EATERY

Went here today for brunch and had an excellent time. The staff were lovely, even offered to put our drinks into takeaway cups so we could have them while outside on the playground with our kid. Food came out very quickly. The Mowbray Benedict was delicious.

We had an All-Day Breakfast at the Eatery. My Eggs Benedict was delightful — with bacon and served on hash browns, with nice runny eggs. The mango smoothie was great, too.

One of the best brunch places I've been (and I go brunching a lot). Amazingly fresh and wholesome produce, beautiful coffee, dog and baby friendly. I ate the green eggs, and thought 'wow this is what eggs are supposed to taste like' @thewholefoodthing

There were 3 of us and it was just awesome.

The breakfast here is amazing! I highly recommend the corn fritters. Dog and Child friendly this place is perfect for a weekend catch up.

Lovely spot for a bite on a sunny Sunday. Caramel iced coffees, eggs benedict and fritters were on point! The staff warmly accommodated our puppy on the deck. They also fixed a mistake I made with the order free of charge. Will be back :)

Friendly staff and good coffee. Love the family vibe here and how nice are the staff. They know how to provide good service and to make friends with customers. Had a lovely brunch here and will definitely come back.

Prefect location for the locals, cozy place for the morning coffee and breaky, lovely service with great food, love to come out have our life back.

Finally I found cozy quiet cafe which I can't find these days. You will hear sound of wind and birds singing.

Surprised at the poor reviews and glad I have not been there when the male owner is around. The female owner has always been friendly and the food / coffee is great.

I go here, most often for a mid-morning espresso or for lunch with a friend. The staff and chef are lovely and the coffee and food are good. A good place to sit and think.

exquisite service and staff went above and beyond for our breakfast requests. the french toast is not too sweet, the avocado toast is a significant standout from other breakfast places, everything is in perfect portions and is so cheap for the immaculate quality of the food and service. lovely atmosphere too

We tried sweet potato stack . It’s was really delicious! They spent decent time to make a great food ! Highly recommend.

Previous review got deleted?! Have been coming to this cafe for years - owner and management are super friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to meet any request. Have sorted me for food when clearly understaffed and probably not able to - lovely coffee to boot, which is a bonus. All the food made fresh in-house and is delicious. 10/10!

My wife and I love picking up coffee from here. Service is always friendly and warm - we're always greeted by everyone from wait staff, barista, to the diner team. You can tell they really care about the customers.

On top of the exceptional service, the food and coffee is great. Awesome place to start the morning. It's no wonder the people in Lane Cove know this cafe and the team are a gem!

Highly recommend. Lovely staff. Would suggest you book ahead this place gets very busy on the weekend. Great selection of foods including gluten and lactose free food. Breakfast costs around $9-21. Great fresh juices and home made deserts. Lovely seating inside and out with great access to children's playground. Perfect for family's. Some people even bring their dogs...on the leash pursue of course:)

One of my favourite cafes. Great coffee, food, atmosphere and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Can get a little busy at lunch but I can't rate this place enough. We have even organised catering from this cafe and was very impressed by the food and service.

If you're unsure what to order then go the bacon and egg roll. It's no longer listed under the breakfast menu but there's cheeky note at the bottom of the page that says "Yes we still do it... All day... Everyday... $12". Treat yourself.
