Our fave cafe in Warrnambool. They serve breakfast and lunch all day long which is great! We have had the arancini balls, french toast, chicken bao buns, poke ball - they were all AMAZING! Defo try the hot banana chai too so yum! Cannot wait to try the rest of the menu. The lemon cookie is also really good! They also sell reusable tumblers, frank green water bottles.

Great place place to go. Nice modern retro setting. Food was great. They served varieties of wonderful flavoured tea. Friendly staff. There is one largest long beautiful timber table which able to accommodate for big group of 25 adults, sadly didn't get much photos.

Great spot to pop in with doggo, plenty of room out the front on a Sunday am, coffees were great and quick (we didn’t have food). Good bathroom stop. Wide selection of biccies and ‘non-nom’ gifts for Xmas.

Great for lazy weekend breakfast or just to grab a coffee. Great food, good service, and reasonable prices. Lots of variety in foods and staff are happy to cater to dietary needs. Large or small groups. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy with the high ceilings, but nothing too bad.

Awesome food, and always friendly service.
That's why I keep coming back 2-3 times a week.

Went for Brunch Had French Toast it come with Cinnamon sugar- coated brioche, berry compot,white chocolate cream cheese,fresh berries, vanilla ice cream, white chocolate shard and added bacon on the side also had a cappuccino definitely delicious👍

Friendly, helpful staff. This cafe was highly recommended in coeliac chat groups. There's a lot of gluten free options and they have a separate gf fryer. They understand coeliac safe food. I really enjoyed my gf chicken burger with chips. Highly recommend.

Cafe Lava was chosen to try a new place. It's an old shed converted into a Cafe. There is lots of room for tables and chairs and still be spread out .It's a little noisy. The food was very tasty and fresh. The coffee was great and staff were friendly. We were happy with our choices, especially my daughter who chose a breakfast board that was a mystery. She loved it and said it was delicious. A good visit.

When travelling outside of Melbourne it is often a hit and miss affair with finding a good coffee. This place possibly has the best coffee in Warrnambool. It is not often that I order a 2nd cup. In this case my wife and I ordered 2nd mugs of coffee. Breakfast was very good too. Great service and friendly smiles. Spacious settings with plenty of of tables and seats.

If you’re a “breakky for lunch” kind of person like me, you simply must order the potato breakfast at Lava Cafe. A delicious, unexpected combination of all my favourites including avo, chorizo, corn, black beans etc etc with a fried egg to top it all off perfectly. DELISH!

The food is sensational here. I would not hesitate in recommending the big breakfast, every element on the plate was cook beautifully. The coffee was exactly what i needed after night one of the GASC.

The service from the two ladies was great too.

We stumbled across this place while travelling the great ocean road. It was a delightful experience.

I ordered the southern fried chicken wrap which came with bacon and brie. It was $18 which was a fair price for a delicious wrap. There was lots of seating inside but we opted to sit outside in the sun.

I so ordered a flat white which was tasty. The staff in the cafe were very friendly and courteous.

Great spot for breakfast! Excellent quality food put together easy to eat. Nice atmosphere good staff and good service. Coffee is good, price is also good. Recommend 👍
