Sugarlane Restaurant Lane Cove

The food here was amazing! For entree we had the Betal Leaf, Crisp Tortilla (which for me was the best entree) the Grilled Corn Ribs and the Salt & Pepper Squid (which was a bit chewy). For mains we had Fried Rice, Miso Cauliflower, Crispy Chicken (outstanding), the Wagyu Beef Rendang Curry and the Tea Smoked Duck. Every dish was yummy and the stand outs were the Crisp Tortilla and the Crispy Chicken. The wine was also lovely we had the Little Angel Sav Blanc and the Lobethal Road Pinot Gris. I can highly recommend this restaurant, we paid $358 for 4 people for the food and wine

We had a wonderful birthday celebration where they were super accommodating and food was fantastic! Sam made sure we were well looked after and everyone enjoyed the food.

Portions were great and we finished the meal with full bellies. Even the kids enjoyed their meals! The roti was delicious and so was the crispy skin chicken.

Also located just next to the Canopy greens so kids can run around while the adults can socialise.

A great place for families to enjoy great food and atmosphere!

No matter what sort of group you are, this place has something for you.

Firstly, the food is fantastic. Full of flavour and high quality. The menu is tight, but varies, and has enough to chose from for all palettes.

Secondly, the location is great. Especially for families with children - given the green space and playground of the Canopy is right next door. This also means there are fewer kids annoying other diners.

Finally, the drinks menu is well crafted and very suited for the food.

Sugar Lane was my saving grace for today! I needed a dessert fix and they delivered! We had mango pavlova with green tea. Yum

Sugarlane Thai is located in The Canopy which has a selection of eateries within. Our first visit we selected Sugarlane and was not disappointed. We even went back for a second time two weeks later and we are from The Central Coast. Service was excellent from the greeting to the farewell. There was an impressive young waiter who was excellent and took orders without a notepad every time and not once got an order wrong. Food was great and so was the atmosphere. 👍

Tasty, nice atmosphere, good service. The only complaint i have is that the rotti is way too oily for my liking. Otherwise the food is full of good flavours. We ordered the kids padthai and fried rice (kids menu), they loved it. Not spicy and tasty.
Will be back with friends to try other things on the menu

Second time dining in at SugarLane in Lane Cove. Never disappoints. Service, food and atmosphere are wonderful.

Came here with my partner tonight and oh my gosh I don't even know where to start. We tried the 'trust me' set menu and every dish was packed with bold south east asian flavours. While the mains were delicious, the starters were the heroes of the night. A very welcome addition to the lane cove gastronomic landscape. We will be back to try the rest of the menu.

I’ve been there several times already and this place doesn’t disappoint, love the 2 page menu with each dish being a gem. Nice selection of cocktails and most of all great service.

Spectacular food! The chicken in plum sauce, and the cauliflower were my two highlights, though both of the entrees we got were also mind blowing. I will definitely be returning.

A booking for seven (7) at a restaurant in Sydney CBD restaurant was cancelled at short notice due to a kitchen plumbing issue. So we pivoted and our friends came to our place and we booked takeaway with two (2) x Family Meal for four (4) which was ready for pick-up at the time promised. Fantastic mixture of culinary delight and every course was packaged in good recyclable containers.

We were celebrating the upcoming wedding of our son with the future in-laws. Sugar Lane was simply superb. Fresh tasty ingredients. Variety of very interesting dishes. Attentive but not obsequious service. They followed our request to not go too fast as we wanted a leisurely evening. Great classy/casual decor etc And very reasonable prices. It would become a favourite if we lived in Sydney!

Amazing Food, the Roti was best I've had in Sydney, The Beef Randang Curry was super moist n lush, the Pork Mince salad was super yummy

We ordered take away and were very impressed. Whilst you’ll pay a premium, the foods flavour is well worth the price tag. The star is the plum sauce fried chicken, so juicy and crispy at the same time. Other stars are the grilled broccoli and cauliflower dishes, very flavorful. The beef rendang is very good and the meat falls apart, but make sure to order rice! The only dish that felt average is the pad thai, it’s comparable to many others and not really worth the price tag. Well done overall Sugarlane!

Our host had a great sense of humour, we enjoyed our interactions, food was fantastic especially the sashimi. A great spot when the weather is sunny and you want to relax with good food and drinks!
