Cheyenne Drilling

I got a surprise message from the Cheyenne Water Drilling company that I had previously contacted on Wednesday last, that they would be here tomorrow, yep they arrived just on dinner time and camped outside the gate for the night. Up early Ramon walked the block divining as he went. He chose a spot down towards where we dug the dam and hit water at 30metres down, it was a gusher but when tested it was way too salty for domestic use, reading at 6000mg/L. Hmm, I opted to have them drill a 2nd hole, which was selected after divining again using his rod. This hole was up near the main lane and the rig was set up once again to do a test hole. I was watching for a while and saw water spurt up, yippee! Short lived I am afraid as the dust started again after 2 minutes, they had just hit a small pocket of water. Ok back to watching, water spurting up again, test done and this time the same scenerio, salty, 5000mg/L. Oh well, I had to try, too messy a job to even think about a desalinator plant. Thank you to Ramon, Caleb and Jakob, you did your best for me, cannot help what is underneath our feet. We are now back to carting water from the river 23kms away. However, some good news, it started to rain on Saturday - 7mm, Sunday - 3mm, and another 3mm so far, yep, a little over 1/2 inch but our big tank is full and flowing over into the smaller one! Keep it up Hughey!!

I am a water diviner and have worked closely with Ramon and his son Rasharn to locate underground water in the Wide Bay region. I have found Cheyenne Drilling to be a very professional company in all aspects of dealing with our clients and myself. Water in this area is hard to find and Ramon utilizes competent water diviners who know the area to locate locate underground water and determine the best drill site. Both Ramon and his son are excellent water diviners who always check these drill sites for the presence of aquifers or underground streams before they drill, giving customers some assurance that a suitable site was selected to drill, with the best chance of finding water. The drillers always position the drill rig accurately over the selected drill site. I have found Ramon to be very honest, always putting the customer first. He has drilled bores in this area for many years and knows the underground terrain very well, allowing him to draw on his extensive experience when drilling. If it looks like a bore will not produce water or enough water, he abandons drilling that hole as soon as he determines that further drilling will not be fruitful. This saves the customer a lot of money in drilling fees. I have not received one complaint from any of the clients I have divined for. They all give glowing reports of the professional and friendly service they have received from this company, the sound advice provided, and the honesty of the owners. Clients get all this and one of the lowest cost bores drilled and cased in the district. If you want a bore drilled on your property, you can't go past the services of Ramon and the team at Cheyenne Drilling.
