So great to have Piquant Kitchen cater our father's 80th luncheon yesterday - we had so many comments on how delicious the food was, with everyone saying they would not need dinner and probably lunch the next day! Everything was perfect for the occasion and made hosting the event so easy for us. The ling pops and duck pancakes were my personal favourites - thank you thank you so much Piquant Kitchen xo

The team was all smiles and nothing was too big an issue. Every glass was topped up, every belly was filled.

Crazily hot day but never a word of complain, Christine, Natalia and Charlotte were absolute stars. Sean and his food was to die for, esp that 18hr lamb on mash.

So yes, we'll definitely get you guys again, for sure!

My sister has used this organisation for catering several times so I decided to use them for my husband’s 80th birthday. They were fantastic. Food was terrific and the two staff members, Sean and Dan, wonderful. They were highly professional and very unobtrusive, working in with our needs and very pleasant. We had finger food that was enough for a meal and provided our own drinks and cake. All our guests commented on how good the food was. Ensured we had a wonderful night.

We used piquant catering for our wedding in April this year, held at my family home. Piquant stood out on the night for their service and the quality of their food. They are truly the best in the business!

The waitstaff were incredibly attentive throughout the entire evening. No one's glass was empty, everyone had full bellies, they kept a special eye on myself and my husband, my bridal party, and parents/immediate family to make sure we were especially cared for. Even my other wedding vendors commented all night to say how well cared for they felt and how wonderful the caterers were.

Not to mention the food itself was outstanding! Everyone commented on how delicious everything was. I have never seen such quality produce but also such high quantities! everyone was so well fed and looked after.

The BEST caterers you will find. They don't just make high quality food, they provide the best service - both in the lead up to the event, and on the day. They were so easy to work with and accommodating to all our needs. I hired Piquant for my 2020 wedding, which had to be pushed back a year. They were so happy to adapt and work with us to create a new event. Their staff at my event were professional and diligent. No one's glass was ever empty and all requests were quickly accommodated. They catered for 120 and every single piece of food was of exceptional quality. I thought I might have just gotten the best of the best being the bride, but all my guests were raving. There was a room full of Italians who had been to a million weddings before, and all of them said this was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. I could not be happier with Piquant. Do yourself a favour and book them!

Piquant staff at our wedding went above and beyond on our special day and we are beyond thankful for their assistance and service. All of them were approachable, friendly, calm and professional. The food was impressive and the service was seamless. Even when I had an incident with the dress and the cake, the staff helped me through it and for something that could have easily been quite stressful and anxiety-inducing, instead they made me feel calm and was able to laugh it off, as the issue was handled so quickly and masterfully!

We used Piquant catering for our wedding reception and were very happy with the service. They were upfront with costs and allowed us to make additions and substitutions to the menu based on our guests dietary preferences. The food and wait staff were excellent and many guests commented on the quality of the service and the food. The staff went above and beyond to set up the lighting, tables and food stations to make our night run smoothly. We would highly recommend using Piquant catering for your next event.

Wow! Our night was just perfect!! We were so happy with Piquant Catering (and so were all our guests!). The food was incredible and the staff were extremely professional! After some research and a number of rough quotes and discussions with several catering companies my husband and I decided to run with Piquant Catering for his 60th birthday celebration at home for around 70 people.
There was something about the approach and professionalism in our discussions with Sarah at the office that initially steered us toward Piquant – which had also been recommended to us by a friend. Secondly the set menu choices and the ability to edit and amend individual items from a seemingly endless list of options for our finger food event looked exceptional on paper.

The offer of a site visit by Piquant staff was also a standout. Justine attended our house a few days before the event and was able to give us numerous tips and suggestions from her experience staging many home events. This gesture gave us confidence that we had things under control and again reinforced that we had chosen the right company to run with.

As they say – the proof is in the pudding and I am pleased to say Will the Chef, Marianne the head waitress, Abby the waitress and Will our barman did an exceptional job on the night. The food we had chosen was exceptional, beautifully presented and served with great efficiency and friendliness. In addition we appreciated the additional efforts made by all staff to make sure my husband and I were taken care of foodwise and even in taking care of presented gifts as guests arrived so we could continue to chat rather than carry gifts back and forth. Great service all around.

Finally – the event was a great success and the recurring theme in our guests comments was the food and service from the catering staff at Piquant.

A final comment - for those who may think bringing in catering for a home event is an extravagance or that you can cut costs by self-catering … think again. This was the first time we had done this and for a special event we have no hesitation in saying it was the best decision we could have made. It allowed us to relax – mingle and enjoy our event, provide interesting food for our guests and left us with a clean kitchen and radically reduced workload. Don’t think twice.

…. and don’t think twice about choosing Piquant as the caterer of choice. We give them 11/10!

Piquant Catering catered for our recent home wedding and we are so happy we chose them. From our first contact they were caring and attentive to our every need. Every question was answered straight away, they helped us with suggestions and gave us space and time to make decisions. On the day the lovely staff were caring, friendly, considerate and professional. The food & service was impeccable. Our guests keep commenting on the delicious food that was continuously served. We chose Piquant Catering for our wedding on 4/6/2017 at Hunters Hill Sailing Club in Woolwich and were very very happy that we did. Food was delicious and presented beautifully. Canapes were so moorish and the guests raved about canapés, the mains and deserts. The staff on the day were really lovely and professional too. We had a wonderful wedding. Just enjoyed a delicious coconut and chickpea curry. The ordering was simple and the food delivered to my door efficiently, which is exactly what you need in these times of restricted movement. Tomorrow night, it's basil, spinach and ricotta gnocchi. Can't wait!

I have experienced Piquant's exceptional service and offering as both a guest and the organiser on a number of occasions - their service is second to none, along with the food - I can highly recommend them for any function where you'd love to "wow" your guests - well done Sarah and team, you really are wonderful to deal with and again, the food is outstanding!

Delicious food with very generous servings. Very affordable take away meals, all home delivered with a hand written thank you note. Can’t do any better!

I've dealt with Piquant numeous times in the last 6 months & all I can say is the food & staff are all top notch!

Chose Piquant catering for my engagement party. We've used them before but this time the service was not as impressive.

One of the wait staff was clearly under the influence of an immense amount of alcohol or other substances. The majority of my guests commented on it. She kept dropping food on the floor and trying to force people to take oysters. Guests kept asking for brooms to sweep up after her. She was stumbling everywhere, with eyes rolling, and several guests told her to sit down because she looked like she was going to fall over. I eventually went up to other staff members and asked them to get her to leave. Food and other staff members were fantastic but it only takes one poor staff member to ruin an important event. When we took it up with the owner the next day he said she was a complete professional and was just under the influence of antibiotics. I don't really buy it but even if that is true, you probably don't want a sick person serving food.
